Even then, using Firefox and Adblock Plus, I don't see any ads on the page.

And to clarify, I'm not saying the ads belong on the site, I'm simply stating that there are other ways of handling it.

Yes, and there are ways of bypassing them as well. I mean, how many kids in this country can get around their parents parental controls on their home computers and televisions? The fact is, even though you can block them, doesn't make them right in the first place. This site, with the reputation it's trying to build, should not have those ads up in the first place. The whole I can't see them, so it's not a problem argument does not hold up.

This is not something that has anything to do with the mods, this is a Mirko only issue, I'll talk to him and see what can be done, technically the girls are just wearing bikinis like Baywatch right ? (Can't see the ad myself) But i was made aware of it last night and that they are porn stars.

Yeah, the issue for me is not the bikinis, but the girls themselves and the involvement of Howard Stern.

There's a little button on your mouse you can push that when combined with the red X at the top right corner of your screen, will do something magical.

Why not just do that?

It's not as if you're bound to viewing the ads which are randomized anyway.

That's like telling someone that is getting a hundred million pop up ads to just get a pop up blocker. Sure, you stop seeing the pop-ups, but you haven't fixed the problem of all the adware and spyware slowing and hampering your computer's performance.
