The Dark Knight Just got back from the advanced showing, no spoilers what so ever

Oh, and some good advice: Buy a drink of coke or something before the movie, drink it all, fill your bladder, then go pee, and buy a medium or small coke and drink it in small quantities, you don't want to get up at all. I went to the toilet, then the doors opened, about 20 minutes in I needed to go again, so I held it on lol

The interrogation? Heath Ledger and Christian Bales chemistry is great, you truly see the obsession they both have with each other that you read in the comic books. In all honesty and without spoiling it, Batman shows how freaking cool he can be in this scene lol

To add on to the question about the fight scenes:

I can't believe how brutal Batman is, you kind of get the impression if you step out of line and do something wrong, Batman will drop from the ceiling and crush your nose back into your skull and then break your collar bones while your on the ground squirming in your own blood lol. He is brutal.

Damn I cant wait to see this movie :wow:

All of you seeing the prescreening are unbelievably lucky. I have to wait until Thursday night for this. PLUS I have IMAX tickets for the following week. I am SO amped for this.

Oh! Imax, lucky you. We also had the imax screen. Holy moly mother of christ was it epic lol.

I would love to see Michael Bay remake this movie just for all his explosions he would add, it would be heaps worth it seeing it on a Imax screen. LOL.

NEVER say that again!!!

To be honest, some times these reviews can be a bit disheartening. If this is the end-all, be-all of human achievement...how can the sequel be anything BUT a disappointment?

Whatever. I trust Nolan.

Remember everyone, to keep everyone's expectations grounded again, this is ONE MAN's review. No offense, but I'm trying to go in level-headed and this ain't helping. :P

34 hours. Then again, after Begins my mind was blown and was running on pure adrenaline the next morning at work.

I don't know how to comment on that (Compi's post) without slipping some minor spoilers that could be picked up if you read into things too much like myself.

But after seeing The Dark Knight, I think the third one will not live up to it.

Mike, enjoy the movie, go in and don't have any expectations, either way, you will feel very pleased and happy you spent money on it.

Also, nobody should pirate this movie just for how good it is, it deserves paying money for it.

Yeah, if it is this awesome, I just hope Nolan will still entertain thoughts of coming back for another one and at least try to complete the story.

Nathan, did you know any spoilers about the movie before seeing it, and if so where they HUGE spoilers?

I would feel kind of robbed if Nolan didn't do a third, if he wants to leave after the third, thats fine. But he could end up being the George Lucus of Batman, or comic book movies in general.

Nope, I stayed right away from spoilers. I'm like that with alot of things I really get into, such as Batman and heroes

Yeah, like how many clips did you see before? And I know people talking about just downloading it, such a shame.

I saw trailer 1 2 and 3, and TV spot #6.

the only spoiler I let myself indulge in was the first leaked Two-Face pic.

Is there anybody in the movie you thought could've done a little better as their character?

How is Roberts as Maroni? Is he pretty despicable? I like what I've seen thus far in the Gotham Tonight episode.

Guys patience, you're asking too many detailed questions here, borderline spoilers. Just wait a few more days. :)

Well, for me personally, I'm done with this thread, thanks for the review though, excited. :)

A little better? Hmmmm... Nope. I can't think of anyone at all, and yes, Roberts was great. As were all the mob bosses. Infact, he was a really hateable character, but I guess thats because he has a weird face lol.

No cheese. But there is a little humor like there was in Begins. The Joker is one funny guy lol.

I really hope your joking.

Awesome. Sorry about the questions everyone...:o

No, it just made it so much more intense, everyone in the cinema gasped though, was pretty funny.
