Yes, I am behind the times. I'm old and I don't handle change easily. However, the cost of cable just got way too high so I canceled it and got a Roku with a Netflix subscription, saving me about $70.00 a month in the process.

Anyway, now that I have it, what do you think I should watch first? I am considering the following:

- The Walking Dead
- Daredevil
- House of Cards
- Orange is the New Black
- The Ken Burns documentary library

What do you say? One of these or something else? The problem is that I don't have a lot of time, maybe a couple of hours a day at most. That means that if I start one, it will take me at least a week or two to get through one season.

Daredevil. It's one season. Easier to catch up on. After that I'd say House of Cards then Orange is the New Black

Daredevil would be my first choice then I would go
with House of Cards

and Breaking Bad is always a great choice :yay:

no problem the more people know about its greatness the better :woot:

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt! If you like like screwball comedies. But yeah Daredevil is really good.

You should add Sense8 to that list somewhere. Don't listen to any of the naysayers.

I know nothing of this show other than it's the only "commerical" on Netflix before a show. I hate it for that reason alone.

Well, pretty much anything that Netflix has exclusive. Daredevil, Orange is the new Black, House of Cards then go for the series that you never watched but wanted to.

Netflix is the best thing ever. Well next to anti-biotics and electricity anyway. :o

Yes, I like your idea about going with the Netflix exclusives first. However, I recently read The Walking Dead graphic novels and am itching to see how the show portrayed them.

Which brings up one question I have about Netflix: Is there any way to know what they are going to be removing from their streaming service in the future?

For example, the Ken Burns documentaries (I'm mainly interested in the ones about Baseball and The Civil War) are pretty old. Could they possibly be removed before I get a chance to watch them?

Daredevil

Orange Is The New Black

Random documentaries

You know when you select a movie or tv show how it goes to a screen that has play, audio subtitles, rate, etc.? Well in the bottom left of that screen it will tell you the date when that particular thing will be taken off netflix. It will say, "Available until "date". If that isnt there then there is no plan to remove it.

:up: Thanks! I had no idea that was there.

Daredevil (partially because it's still short so you can be caught up in no time), then Breaking Bad (because it's the best of the bunch), then House of Cards, then Orange is the New Black, imo.

Also, it's not listed, but if you enjoy sitcoms at all, I'd also recommend the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, another Netflix exclusive.

The Culture High (documentary)

Daredevil (as others said, since you have limited time, it's only 13 episodes).

Black Books [if it's on Neetflix] (Irish/UK sitcom. A personal favourite of mine. 18 25minute episodes total)

Not to be a contrarian or anything, but I thought Daredevil was really dull and boring.
