Justice League vs. Titans animated film is coming

Where the hell are all the female Titans? No Donna Troy or Cassie? What kind of failure? As if we needed both Robin and Nightwing.

Finger's crossed they spin off with a couple of Teen Titans films.

I'm excited for this movie!!! Hopefully it's successful enough to warrant sequels or pique interest in a ongoing Titans series!!

I am so happy that they chose to include Blue Beetle, it helps get him out there more and helps create more fans for such an awesome character! Plus I am so glad they didn't got down the cliche side-kicks route

Good to see the TT get some animated movie love. Long overdue. Other than that, I wouldn't say a look forward to it that much. Besides it seems like half the Justice League won't be there(no GL, no Aquaman, no Shazam), so my interest got even lower. Still as a fan of DC animation I might give it a shot.

As I posted elsewhere:

I am not buying any of those animated DTVs with that Batman in. That world is just so dull. I hope the DCEU ends a up allowing them to go to the well on different characaters again.

I miss the adaptations to (I know they're doing Killing Joke) I was really hoping they'd adapt some stories like Cosmic Oddysey, Kingdom Come, Justice, Matt Wagner's Trinity, Superman Birthright or Secret Origin, etc.

I'd even happily just take JL titles from now on but done the same way as Throne of Atlantis where it's an Aquaman story. I swear they're gonna burn Batman out if they're arent careful.

I feel like other heroes got the shaft abit aswell, GL First Flight was quite succesful and enjoyable. Then they did that awful Emerald Knights and wonder why sales were bad. Even Superman got the shaft with a great film Superman vs the Elite yet the designs were horrible and that put people off. I mean who signed off on those designs? I feel like that's what them effected Superman Unbound which was pretty good also.

Um the recent JL movies are by far the worst. Son of Batman was bad but Batman vs Robin was good and Bad Blood was awesome(yeah I've watched it).
Seems like you have more of a problem with Batman than the actual content because the Batman flicks are vastly superior to the other ones.

I guess you didn't see Raven and Starfire? and lets not act as if it has all the male members. So plz dont turn this in to some sinister agenda of patriarchy. Roy,Connor,Wally,Bart etc are all missing. The reason why Robin is there because he's Robin and Nightwing is there because he's the most famous first generation Titan. It's obvious Dick and some others will be assuming the role of tutors.

I disgaree I thought Throne of Atlantis was actually really enjoyable. I thought Son of Batman and Batman vs Robin were full as dishwater. To be fair I'm yet to see the new one.

I have no problem with Batman I just don't like this version of Batman, the style, the voices and the bland stories. I know many others here would love to see more than just Batman stories too. That's why I enjoyed Flashpoint and Throne of Atalantis so much because those films were actually about the Flash and Aquaman. More stuff like that or adaptations of classic stories or even stuff like Gods and Monsters I'm down for. Instead of giving us two Batman in the same universe stories a year why not have one solo Batman one (or with his supporting group), an adaptation of something, a JL one and maybe a Batman teaming up with another Supehero one).

For the record Batmans my second favourite Superhero of all time so I certainly do not have a problem with Batman.

To each their own I guess,TOA was a disaster in my book. I hated SOB too but they rebounded big time with BVR and BB. JL movies I think have progressively gotten worse. I do have high hopes for JL vs Titans though.

I dont wanna sound rude or anything but your second para certainly gives me the impression that you think Batman movies should be cut down and replaced with movies featuring others. I'm not sure what business model WB follows but I'm content with it. A Batman movie,an out of continuity movie and a JL movie seems fair to me. It's just that two of those OOC flicks have been about Batman(also counting TKJ).

I as a Batman fan am worried about over saturation that's where my concern comes from for Batman. But also I do want to see other characters because we have seen so much Batman and the DCU is a big place. I think to get 4 a year (or is it 3?) with two of them been Batman then I think it's only fair that another one gets a movie or at least a shared movie. We're missing out on so many other great stories.

I understand your concern. Right now WB has limited their animation department to three flicks. Batman,JL and OOC movies. It's just that 2 of those OOC have been about Batman and with how good Assault was and TKJ which could well be a classic I'm not sure one can even make an argument against them.

Oooh 2 females out of 5 males. Especially when Titans always had a somewhat balanced cast gender wise. It's old and of course only done to recreate the TTAU cast.

Wolfmans Titans had Dick,Roy,Wally,Garth,Vic,Gar, Donna,Raven,Starfire. It's literally 2 to 1.

Most of the males from that line up didn't even make it. Even if we use the Drake generation then the primary characters were Superboy,Tim,Bart and Cassie. It's 3 to 1.

But I'm not defending any of this at all, just saying it cant be a "failure" if it doesn't feature 2 characters who never had mainstream appeal in the first place. The TT show didn't have Donna as the primary character either nor did YJ,even Cassie was just background character in YJ.

Yeah because they had trouble obtaining rights which they don't anymore. But the cast line up to me is a failure.

How is the line-up a failure? Is it because Wonder Girl or Donna aren't included? If you haven't noticed Superboy, Kid Flash, Red Arrow, Impulse ...etc aren't included either.

They went with the most popular line-up (the 5 from the cartoons) plus characters they're trying to build up (Jaime and Damien). If another girl were to be added it most likely would have been Terra.

I like Starfire's design because she's not overbearingly sexual. However, Robin looks like he's about 7 years old and weights approximately 60lbs. I certainly hope that's not the look he has in the movie. Yikes. :csad:

Really? I think Starfire looks sexy as hell.

After TKJ, they should make Superman : Red Son.

A intergalactic Justice League film with no Batman or just a little Batman.

Young Romance film, featuring Superman/Wonder Woman, Robin/Ravin, Nightwing/Starfire or Batgirl.

This will prevent Batman from becoming over saturated, while giving us good DC content.

I actually think Red Son would be interesting, I mean would they go with Russian voices for Supermam, Batman etc or not?

I just hope they revaluate what they're doing and stop what they are currently doing cause I'm finding these Batman titles boring. The Killing Joke is more like something I want to see.

If there are TT spin-offs, hopefully Deathstroke will be in them and hopefully he will be a better character than he was in Son of Batman. Also, hopefully they recast the voice actor and replace him with Ron Perlman or at least someone who is good and just forget that Deathstroke in Son of Batman ever happened.
