A veteran of NBC’s Law & Order is joining the FBI for Fox’s The Following.
Actress Annie Parisse has landed a series regular role on the Kevin Williamson midseason thriller, playing an FBI cult specialist who’s brought in to lead the investigation into serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) and his demented followers. The character is considered super smart with a good sense of humor, and is not above using her sex appeal if necessary. She’ll be working with an FBI outcast (Kevin Bacon) who’s brought back on duty after Carroll escapes.
In addition being on L&O from 2002-06, Parisse has guest starred a few times on CBS’ Person of Interest and has appeared in the romantic comedies Definitely, Maybe and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. And in case you missed it, here’s what Comic-Con fans had to say about Fox’s The Following after watching a pilot screening last month.
