Still pisses me off that I haven't been able to find the promo using "Seven Devils" on youtube. :csad:

Less than an hour, east coasters.

Well, that was intense. I think I've finally found a new FOX show to match the feelings I got watching PRISON BREAK for the first time. Can't wait for next week.

Nice episode I wasn't sure about it going in but I got locked in.

That was pretty damn cool pilot, some of the dialogue in the beginning was a little on the nose in terms of establishing character motivation but this show doesn't pull any punches. Finally a procedural cop show that doesn't feel completely safe. Plus literary element to the crimes elevates the material. I look forward to following this...that pun was unintended...or was it?

It wasn't bad at all. I want to give it a little more time to develop though before I put it into the upper class of television. Shows like this one need time to get going. The pilot probably would have benefited more if it was 2hrs. Honestly, I'm kinda shocked that it wasn't to begin with.

Bacon and Purefoy were great. Not sure how I feel about Agent Iceman or Agent Mole.
Maggie Grace bit it awfully fast. I don't mind all that much because I don't really care for her acting ability too much.

Anyone else look away or have difficulty looking at the screen in the house with the dead dogs? Usually no scene has ever gotten to me, but that scene was the most disturbing scene I've ever seen to date. As said in the show, violence to humans I can usually handle, violence to animals that's a whole other story. Ironically although really disturbed, that's what told me that they're really going to push the envelope and got me hooked.

It will be interesting to see how far they can go. When I first heard of this show I was disappointed that it wasn't going to be on FX, AMC or HBO.

Anybody wanna place bets on who the first FBI turncoat "follower" is going to be?

I warned all you dog lovers....beware when watching this!

When I caught the pilot @ NYCC, the person sitting next to me couldn't stomach that scene and ended up having her head down and closing her eyes. So no you're not the only one who had difficulty watching it.

Oh, my...wow.

That was...wow. :wow:

I think I just found my new favorite series.

I'm guessing its Shawn Ashmore's character. He seems to display much interest in Carroll's methods, motivations and love of Edgar Allen Poe (He even quoted part of one of his works). Maybe a little too much interest.

I think all of that is why that character won't be the one.

This was outstanding! Got me a new favorite show. It was nice to see Shawn Ashmore and Billy Brown who I didn't even know was in this. Great opener, I hope they can keep up the intensity thru the whole series.

Now THAT was a premiere. This is definitely my new favorite show. Bacon was fantastic, and Purefoy was brilliant. The rest of the cast seems pretty strong too (it's nice to see the lovely Natalie Zea in a role where I don't hate her character). The premise is chilling as hell... I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I can't wait for the next episode.

That was one intense pilot. You can tell it was written by the writer of Scream since it had many white-knuckle, jump-out-of-your-seat moments. Definitely a show to keep watching.

Ten minutes in. This show sure isn't pulling any punches. Just the way I like it.

It had me about that far in as well. This show could definitely end up being something great

I don't know. I felt like there were too many cliche elements in the show.

It also felt like I've been through this all before when watching The Mentalist with the Red John plotline.

Too many of the good guys come across as clueless, so in that sense I didn't really care for many of the characters with the exception of Kevin Bacon. Unfortunately he is shackled with the cliche trait of being stuck inside of a bottle.

I realize they want to build up Carroll as this mastermind, but I think you can do that without destroying the credibility of the good guys. All this episode did for me was establish that the law enforcement characters are incompetent.

For me, I could see the thing with Maggie Grace's neighbors coming from a mile away. What I would have liked to have seen would be something like Bacon and the others interrupting her abduction and killing the neighbors, but then she is taken by other means. Or something like that.

I really did not like Shawn Ashmore's character. Some of the lines for that character just plain sucked. Also...Mike Weston....come on.....

I'll give the show a shot next week and see what Annie Parisse brings to it.
