Yea the flashbacks are working swimmingly IMO. Loved seeing how Carrol and Hardy first met. Only complaint is that it is waaaay too similar to Lector and Graham's relationship in Red Dragon. Well, at least before the events of Red Dragon. I'm actually getting excited for this every week now though and that is always a good sign

lately i'm wondering how they will do a second season. as of now, i think this show would work much better a mini-series.

Calling it now...

Iceman is a part of the cult and when Kev Bacon left the room he killed the agent.

EXACTLY what I thought, because ....

Why didnt he run outside when he either heard the first gunshot or the shouting? Very suspicious if you ask me.

I trust that the writers are creative enough to twist the story so that future seasons could work.

Well, he had a bleeding colleague on the floor whose life he was trying to save, it made more sense for him to stay there and help because they were trusting Ryan to take care of the others.

Yes this...

:woot:

Fortunately the networks dont give a **** what you think, or over 100,000 of the fans that tuned in.

I want more.

More power to you, I love whenever someone uses numbers for a show as some kind of indicator of quality, based on that argument Jersey Shore is also an excellent show, while things like Justified and Breaking Bad are pretty terrible :whatever:

To those who've continued watching, I'm curious if you notice any difference in the next couple of episodes vs the pilot? Or if it's still on the same level, regardless of what you thought of that level in the first place.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean anything Rez. Others do. And I'd say every episode has been good so far and all have had interesting twists that stay in the viewer's head. There is no truth except for each subjective truth.

The ending with them training/brainwashing the kid was the most disturbing thing in the show so far IMO. I don't think Ashmore will be a follower, I actually think his hero worship of Ryan is actually the counter-balance to the sick worship of Carol.

/\ Makes sense.

And yeah, that definitely was very disturbing. I'm seriously hoping that they stop them before they're able to completely scar that boy into becoming mentally unbalanced.

I would love for the future seasons (assuming there are future seasons) to be about different serial killers, I like Purefoy's work but I'd get tired of this structure after a while.

If this does get renewed I hope it won't be them dragging all this out forever. :(

After seeing all three episodes I am pretty mixed. Nice premise and I like that they pull no punches. But two things are really bugging me...

1) How incompetent are these cops/FBI agents.
2) I really hope they do not continue on with, surprise he/she is a follower.

Well, look how Prison Break turned out. This seems to have that same frenetic pace and feeling to it

Well Prison Break was strongest during S1. S2 was decent and then downhill began at S3. Couldn't even finish S4.

When Ryan got in there though it looked as though the agent had been dead for some time, its not like he died just as Ryan got to the door.

We will see I suppose, but its a testament to the show that I suspicious of everyone who isnt Ryan at the moment.

Season finale cliffhanger.... Ryan has been a follower all along... And doesn't even know it! DUN DUN DUN!

It was a serious throat slash, the death doesn't neccessarily mean anything sinister. :)

One hour, east coast. :o:up:

Awesome episode. Interested to see where that triangle goes. And that's already happening next week?! WOW! They really aren't messing around with the pace of this show. I love it. Also called Will never murdering anyone weeks ago -- I knew there was something behind his reaction to Emma killing her Mom, now I know what it is. I think maybe Will is an aspiring writer or just a lost soul who was taken in by this author and wants to make him proud because he feels like he's the only one that gets him. Basically - imagine your greatest hero (and an expert manipulator) telling you that he got to where he is by killing people and that that's the only way to feel alive; if the person has a messed up psyche and is seeking belonging - they'd probably fall into that. I see him as just a guy who desperately wants to feel like he belongs now and that this was his only chance at having a family.
