what's worse is the ******* who did this is claiming some sort of religious epiphany and that the story is actually heart warming. the man is sick to the core.

also he was originally sentenced to 50 years in prison for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman then served only 5.

In this case I say no way. Death is much better than being abused and constantly sexually molested for 18 years. Her entire life is pretty much ruined. How is she going to recover? She has no education, how is she going to support herself? are her family really willing to stay with her and will she accept them?

Her kidnapper deserves a death sentence.
