Kiersey Clemons IS Iris West

For the sake of not making her into a carbon copy/lesser version of Lois Lane, do you guys think that they should update/modify Iris's career/job within the DCU?
Or they can connect Iris (TV news or some other branch) and Central City with Metropolis. I'd be down for that.
what he looks like is iterative, it depands what age they are trying to pass him off for (which i doubt is teenage) so if their trying to pass him off as a adult him work with someone older might help (or might hurt if it just makes him look younger by comparison)
I agree with this

My top 3 choices
1. Brie Larson. Worked with Lord and Miller on 21 Jump Street.

2. Anna kendrick. Would prefer her to be Zatanna but that seems unlikely.

3.Gina Rodriguez. On a hit show, just won a golden globe, has a lot of buzz about her.

Olivia Wilde was my choice before they cast Ezra. I figured they would go mid-to-late 20's for Barry but they went younger. Now I guess my favorites would be Emma Watson or Kaya Scodelario.

Meh. I really like her as an actress, but the idea of Woodley as Iris West just doesn't appeal to me.

She might get topless in some manner, if that's anything? :o

I think I'm turned off by the idea because she looks so young. I don't doubt that she and Miller would work well together, and Miller himself is actually a year younger than her, but the difference between them is I feel like he could actually pass for a young adult. Woodley, to me, looks like a teenager. I know I'm being silly, but that's how I feel.

Ever since Ezra was cast, I have not really been sure who I wanted as Iris West. I've thrown around a few names without being truly convinced. Though now, I may have a choice...
Alicia von Rittberg from Fury.

She is age compatible with Ezra, is strikingly pretty and , on the limited evidence of Fury, one with some potential in her. The only issue could be her accent but I heard her speak in an interview recently and she is pretty decent.

Imogen Poots

She's 26 btw

^ Wow, but she looks like younger sister of Margot Robbie. :p

top choices would be
zoe kravitz (mad max: fury road, x-men first class, divergent)

nathalie emmanuel (furious 7, game of thrones)

zoe kravitz does sound like a good choice to me

To differentiate from the show, they should go for someone who is white.

They don't have to do that, its not like that much people watch CW. I doubt anyone would be saying that if the character was white on the show. There should be more lead roles for women of color in these superhero films anyway. Zoe fits Ezra's vibe the most from the choices that have been suggested in this thread.

Goddamn! Vanessa Morgan is a dime piece

She'll be perfect

why?... I think superhero movies should incorporate other races and nationalities.

Thats what i like about DC... Aquaman is not a generic american/european looking man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He looks brown, so either middle eastern or hawaiian descent. I said middle eastern because well thats what inspired the writer of the game of thrones books in developing Khal Drogo.

Interracial relationships should be promoted and superhero movies allow such, the show does it perfectly.. we have segregated people for way too long, when they could be together if they love each other..
JL - john stewart and hawkgirl .. awesome couple too

TRISTIN MAYS ... she is soo attractive maan...
