Certainly possible, if she were I would be surprised to get anything more than a cameo though, just there to show a glimpse of Barry's non-superhero life.

What I hope above all is that the actress has real on screen chemistry with Miller and that they present the relationship in a way that makes the attraction between the two apparent and understandable. In terms of the actress and the writing of the relationship this is something I feel was terribly executed in the CW FLASH show.

I think the good thing is that there is a pretty wide age bracket one could possibly go for here- compared to, say, Mary Jane for the new Spider-Man- and literally tens of actresses are fit for the role.

She still could use help with visibility because she honestly isn't anywhere near the name recognition as Paltrow, Portman, McAdams, Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway, Emma Stone, or even a Haley Atwell, all of whom cashed a nice check and increased their profile in the pop culture sphere simply by being part of the zeitgeist of the Golden Age of Super Hero Movies.

I think Shailene Woodley could be a good Iris.

I agree that Woodley isn't too big for the role. If Divergent took off I would have thought so but instead the series just does decent numbers and it's not like she's got some Oscar nominations or wins driving up her asking price. don't get me wrong, Woodley is doing very well but I think that very few actors are above hits anyway.

Yeah, but Spiderman definitely aims at that younger demographic a little more hence the Disney channel actress casting

Please keep underwhelming actresses away from this role. Sorry but I don't find a lot of the "talent" on the Disney channel as being ready for prime time most of the time.
