I have a bet with two of my buddies that the 360 will dethrone the wii by the end of the seventh gen.

Yeah, it's not enough just to like what you like... you have to hate everything else too. Does it somehow increase your love for the 360? Honestly, I love the Wii, and if I could only have one console this gen, that would be it... but I'm getting the 360 a little prematurely because I really don't have the time for it just yet. I suppose I could've waited for a price-break, because I've got so many Nintendo games I wanna play... but I do wanna try both Spider-Man 3 games... that's probably the only reason I'm putting a rush on the 360. That, and I want an HD-DVD for my game room. Plus, it has a better exclusives than the PS3, which practically has no exclusives now. End of matter.

Depends on what kind of game you like.

you already said NBA 2K7 for sports. If you like driving games I recommend Need for Speed Carbon or Most Wanted. Shooters i recommend (and Im sure this will come as no surprise) Gears of War or Lost Planet. Crackdown is another good game if you like GTA sytle free roamers (it also might come with a Halo 3 beta).

If you can wait there are also a lot of good games coming out for 360 in the next few months as well like Assassin's Creed, GTA 4, and Halo 3.

No, but I'm sure it would it if could. Nah, it's just that Nintendo's last two consoles have sucked. It's sad that such a kick ass company has dropped the soap.

Aside from one game which already being sold in Japan, none of these games are out stateside. But they're my list of games on the 360 I have to play. A few aren't exclusive, but that's not a biggie.

I ordered it on Amazon today. I had it sitting there in the cart and I said what the hell. Also ordered a few sports games and I got the Pro package... plus I was thinking of checking out Tony Hawk's Project 8. Any advice on those? Already placed COD3 and I'm getting Crackdown too.

I have nothing against the Sony console, i plan of getting one sometime this year, but to sell the 360....NEVAH!

It's not just to get a PS3, I could have both... but I just don't use the 360, and when I do, I use it as a media player. Now that I'm dropping HD altogether, that is the last strand of media usage that I get out of my 360... and for that same reason I'm trying out the PS3. I'm not even really getting any games for it any time soon. My Wii is where I game.
