I think Heather Graham's show on ABC was officially cancelled before the end credits of the first episode! And they hyped the mess outta that show beforehand!

Well I hope their plans to remove three of the characters and focus more on the man and his car story line will improve the show. I still think this has potential if they turn down certain aspects of the show and take it a bit more seriously.

I've still enjoyed this show so far though.

So you want Justin Bruening to get MORE air time? That would make the show even worse IMO.

Maybe get the character Mike involved in a horrible accident where he needs facial reconstruction and then replace Justin with somebody else. Actually, if I remember right, in the first episode of the original Knight Rider, they used a different actor for the first mission and he was shot in the face and after a facial reconstruction the Hoff took over.

He wasn't officially part of The Foundation, yet. He was just some cop that they took and used his getting shot as a cover to create a new identity for him.

Aren't they like rebooting it? Like making it JUST LIKE the old show.

the plan is to air the 3 episodes that are left...depending on how they do, NBC will make a final decision

I don't mind them getting rid of Yancey Arias and Sydney Tamiia Poitier. Their characters aren't really necessary. But Bruce Davidson was the best actor on the show. And he's like the modern day Devin. He could also be the liaison between the government and the agency since they got rid of the other two. They should keep him and get rid of those two techs they have. Sometimes their ok, most of the time the characters are annoying.

I hope that if they get the kinks worked out of the show & it becomes a bit a more successful, I wish they would actually bring in Val Kilmer in a guest starring role. Maybe he could play one of the original people who created K.I.T.T. & he gave K.I.T.T. his own voice as a joke & it stuck.

Hasselhoff's...Michael Knight should take over as the President of the Foundation Of Law And Government, Billy should be killed as he adds nothing to the proceedings, Sarah Graiman should be K.I.T.T.'s mechanic, wearing an update of Bonnie Barstow's white jumpsuit...she should also make K.I.T.T. nearly indestructable so
the series can get back to the great action and collateral damage of
the 80's Knight Rider.Smith Cho should be the one tech, as well as an occasional field agent. Get rid of the K.I.T.T. cave too...keep the bomber, and also add the semi from 80's KR.

I want Sarah wearing as little as possible....Billy got the shaft in BSG, so I don't mind him sticking around....KITT is fairly resistant to damage, but no TV viewer today is going to buy a nigh indestructible car tearing around....I'd go for having a smaller base and a mobile base in certain episodes

Sorry guys but the show's dead and it's being put on the chopping block. The ratings were ****e and NBC finally came clean on that.

A lot of NBC people just got laid off including Silverman's second in command.

GE hasn't been happy with Silverman and his people for a while. Knight Rider's been going bad since before the economy crashed.

It's a shame. I'd been wanting a new Knight Rider for a while. Except in my vision there was better acting, especially from the lead, better special effects, and better stories, and oh, William Daniels was still the voice of KITT.

This new show was passable trash, but it had so much more potential. It should have been tied completely to the original show, hell, even reference Team Knight Rider,which always referenced the old show! It should have begun without everyone and their mother being in the cast. It should have had immediate guest appearances from original living cast members, especially more from The Hoff, and again, even bring in the actors from TKR. Make it fun!!!!

The show just wasn't fun enough. It was empty entertainment at best, and these days, these times, that doesn't always cut it on a weekly basis. It's gonna be cancelled because it started with a whimper, and even if it ends with a Turbo Boost it will be too late.

That will be great indeed. Hopefully Peter Cullen can make the new KARR sound just as creepy as the first time he did it. How many episodes will KARR be appearing on the show? Speaking of the new KARR he is more of a mix between a robot & car but will he be walking around at some point?
