I enjoyed the pilot movie and the first few eps... BUT OMG it got into the "formula mode" quickly and I just couldn't keep the interest.

I quit watching the instant I saw KITT turn into an F-150.
Wtf is that robot thing in the TV promo spot I saw...?
From what I recall from the last episode I watched the robot is the show's version of K.A.R.R.
That's my biggest problem with KITT. I don't mind him being able to transform, but the way they did it in the pilot is far more convincing.
They should have stayed away from what they're doing now. Exhaust pipes swinging down for a turbo boost I can live with. But transforming with parts swinging out where there can't be any doesn't work for me. Instead, stick with the nano-skin transformation they used in the pilot. That way, KITT's shrinking and growing can be explained by his skin just reshaping, flowing into a new form. And he has and stores all the extra nano-skin he needs in areas you can't see like the trunk.
So KARR is a Decepticon now? Awesome.
Because the Hoff tells you to.

The continuity of the show doesn't make sense.
Apparently this is a sequel to the original Knight Rider. Yet they treat KARR as some sort of evil cyborg robot. KARR was not a cyborg robot.
And is KITT a new KITT? What happened to the original KITT? They act like the original KITT never existed.
