Just read the sentence "One man can make a difference"
Hardly reflects todays standards. People would be up in arms. That's why I think casting a female is all but inevitable.
Well it's not saying that ONLY one man can make a difference but that one man is able to make a difference since he is a man after all and can make a difference. It doesn't exclude the fact that one woman is also able to make a difference.
Funny abt T-KR is the tag line already became "One Man Isn't Enough" - yet If they used the tag today would they be accused of anti-white-male Social Justice Warrioring.?If they even re-use the tagline, they'll likely just change it to 'one person can make a difference'. Doesn't need to be any more complicated than that.
Star Trek did something similar when TNG in the late 80s altered the original 60s tagline "to go where no man has gone before" to "to go where no-one has gone before"
And most importantly not one of the cars had the cool repurposed Cylon sound effect and red eye, moving back and forth. The thing I disliked most about that show is they forgot how important it is to have cool cars.
Three decades plus later... And yes I remember that line too. Also, "What's all this? It looks like Darth Vader's bathroom," is still one of my favorite lines.
