I've moved back in with my parents to save for the year until I have enough to move country.

The biggest change is privacy. In my apartment, people knocked and privacy was respected most of the time. But here, people just walk right on in to my room without knocking. Good thing I have keys. I laugh internally when someone attempts to open the door and can't. I then say; ''What do you want?'' with the same reply I always get ''Nothing''.

I was napping a few minutes ago, just resting my winkers and relatives came over. I was half asleep when someone tried to open my door. I woke up out of my desired sleep. My parents wanted to show my relatives my room, but I pretended I be asleep. **** out of my room, *****es. This ain't no Disneyland attraction.

So, my question you all of you is; do people you live with knock before entering you room? Is you privacy respected?

back when i had roommates, they would always walk into the bathroom when you were in there (it was a crappy apartment and the bathrooms didn't have locks); which would be ridiculous, because they could see the light on through the cracks of the door and hear the fan going. There were several times where someone almost got a wad of used toilet paper thrown at them.

It's reached the point where damn near my entire family lives under one roof, these days. My older brother is the only person who knocks before entering my room, because he also hates it when our mom and grandparents just walk in. Our mom is especially bad, because she'll admit to walking in our rooms for the simple purpose of annoying us.

Well living with your parents makes things different. If you don't pay rent, I don't think you have a right to privacy.

Although many times at my office people bringing packages or selling something will always just try to come in without knocking, in that case it really bugs me. You should definitely knock.

I was fapping a few minutes ago, just testing my winker and relatives came over. I was half asleep when someone tried to open my door. I woke up out of my desired sleep. Fixed! :woot:

but yeah I my privacy is respected where I live

My uncle, who I live with, never knocks....it's sooooo annoying....so i feel your pain. The room Im in doest have a door either cause we kind of converted the living room into a bedroom so that I can have the piano in my room, so he just walks in.

i always knock even if there isnt a door. The only time that I really walk in without knocking is when i go to my twin brother's house....but I wouldnt just walk into his room without knocking...only when I walk into the house. He kinda has an open door policy

"welcome to the Lunar wolf household! Over here is the kitchen where we make delicious meals. This right here is our master bedroom and if you follow me, you will notice to my right, Lunar fapping away." lol

I have 3 children so bathroom privicy is tricky, my children often burst in to tell me they can't find the remote. they also just wander in my bedroom as i'm napping to see what DVD's they fancy watching of mine.

I'm good though, i always knock before entering, actually not always if my missus is in the bath i'll just nip in for a look, i'm nice like that. I would get a bathroom lock, but i know my daughter will lock herself in and not be able to get out.

I suggest you tell your parents you expect that they value your privacy (as you no doubt do theirs).

But no, seriously, I live with my aunt. She straight up just opens the door and doesn't give any sort of **** when she does. She can, because it's her house and I never complain, because I really have no room to.

You never know what's going on behind closed doors, so you'd better knock.

Why don't you just get one of those latch locks and install it out of her reach

Hahaha. For shame, Lunar.

Interrupting my fapping is a criminal offense.

I'm afraid to walk on into someone's room just incase I catch someone, then being all in the mood, they get ****** strong and start to do unsavory things to me.

Unfortunately, i kind of fall under the same category. I never complain, as much as I'd like to.

I wish more people knocked before entering. Usually I just lock the door if I really don't want to be disturbed.

We lock our bedroom door. Kids will always barge in. Don't want their innocent minds warped walking in on Mom and Dad in a...ahem... compromising position.

My folks knock on my door so I get respect that way.

When I had roommates they knocked, (unless they were drunk). At home, my parents wouldnt even come near my room so I had extreme privacy, if they needed me, they'd just yell for me.

It's your parent's house...not yours. That is what my dad would say.

"Timmy! I'm respecting your privacy by knocking on your door, but asserting my authority as your parent by coming in anyway!"

*battering ram*

I pay rent god dammit, I want rent privileges.

Plus, I'm only looking out for them. Imagine seeing your son fapping? My parents don't really use the Internet, so imagine the things they'll see.
