Wiig is an interesting choice to play Cheetah...not who I would have gone with but Patty obviously knows what she's doing and it is her vision. I just want a great sequel and with Cheetah as the villain I can't wait.

You know, even if she's something along the lines of her typical "goofy/nerdy comedy persona" as Barbara Minerva, that only adds to the duality aspect and the tragedy of the bloodthirsty Cheetah.

And the facial contortions she'll be able to do as Cheetah...the snarling, etc...

I can see it working.

I could also see the contrast between a potentially flawed , nerdy and all to human Minerva and the flawless, beautiful, goddess Diana , creating an interesting dynamic and tension between the two characters.

I know people were hoping for a woman of colour to get it but I think that could have worked out very badly (women of colour being portrayed as bestial or sexy bestial). Still plenty of opportunities for women of colour though hopefully!

Have you even read what it says before passing judgment? I said she DOESN'T look like that, not that she DOES. I'm saying it in response to the other poster who was saying 40s is old, as if women would suddenly look like that. I'm responding that 40s ISN'T old and that Marisa still looked great even in her late 40s.

I'm not saying Kristen did either. I haven't even heard of her before so I wouldn't know. I was saying that people in their 40s don't look like that because whoever it was I was replying to was implying they did, as if 40s suddenly makes someone all decrepit.

Actually I wouldn't mind if they combined her character with Priscilla Rich. She could wear a Cheetah costume at the start. But when she gets defeated by WW, she is obsessed with becoming one. So she takes something that causes her to mutate.
