Some casting decisions are far more divisive (Ben Affleck, Michal B. Jordan, Gal Gadot, etc)

My issue with Luke Cage is that every Tuesday on Agents of SHIELD I see a guy who would be perfect for the character...and every name that gets rumored to actually play him seems like a worse choice than the guy they overlooked.

A lot of posters at other sites are complaining about this casting. I'm glad we have much more discerning tastes here.

I'm surprised by the complaints (or maybe I shouldn't lol). I don't know much about the character but from the little that I know of, Ritter is such a great choice. She's got range and is IMO a stunner.

I this choice. Once that list of 4 actresses was released a few weeks ago I was hoping it'd be her since I loved Breaking Bad and she was good on it. The guy who'd playing Luke Cage is much more of an unknown quantity to me but I trust Marvel.

what i said was that i was not familiar with the Jessica Jones character but now that Krysten Ritter is involved i will check out the show for sure

haha That show is pretty funny actually. My girlfriend got me in to a few episodes on Netflix a couple months ago. I hadn't even heard of it before then.
