...Michael Jackson?

I'd want a wide brim fedora... not one of the small ones.

Oh and hey...

Now here's a pretty open-and-shut case. What do you think could have caused Take-Two's share price to rise almost 18 percent yesterday? The company had the release of a little game called LA Noire to thank for that.

On Monday, Take-Two shares were hovering around $15 a pop, but shot up yesterday as LA Noire launched and closed at $17.10 -- the highest valuation since the proposed takeover by EA. As of the market's close today, shares were still trading in that range, hitting as high as $17.28 this afternoon.

Thats exactly why I think they look *****ey now. Everyone goes on about loving the 1940's look, THAT is not 1940's. If he was in a full 3 piece suit and his hat wasn't tilted like that, it would be cool. With the hat tilted rakishly and a denim jacket, *****ey.

I feel like I'm near the end...the vice cases aren't nearly as fun as the homicide cases..the end of the dahlia case was creepy awesome...I played it at around 3 in the middle of the night in the dark...
It seems the cases get longer and far more important as you go...no more small quick missions that take 20 minutes...it gets really tough to read people...red dead still might be my favorite but with a proper ending this might knock it out of the way

If anything, Fedora wise, they tilted them back. My grandfather STILL wears his hats that way. :p

Wow, I just got 2 stars on "The Golden Butterfly", and I thought I had nailed it.

Quick question, did anyone else who pre-ordered from GS not get their pre-order suit bonus? I got the Naked City Case, but I don't see any code for that.

Finally got around to playing it. It's good. Im having fun. I just made homicide

Pros:
-The interrogations. I suck at it, but I still enjoy it.
-The creation of the city
-The APB/side missions are cool.
-The foot chases and gunfights are cool
-The cases themselves are just really interesting
-Investigating crime scenes is really cool.

Cons.
-The game lagged for me at some points.
-Cole Phelps isnt the most interesting character. He's so straight-laced, not very funny or charismatic.
-The flashbacks to Phelps's time in WWII arent that interesting
-I dont like the lack of gun choice. I know you cant pull out your gun when it's not needed but I would like more selection than Shotgun, Machine, and Pistol. Idk if you get different types of guns later in the game
-No overarching story. From what Ive seen so far there isnt one. Each case if basically stand alone, which works for some people and I dont HATE. But I like a story with a goal at the end of it like John getting back to his family in RDR. I dont know if one gets developed

Things I wish were different/were put in the game
-I wish there was some kind morality system. Not saying I want to be so evil that we're killing random civillains, but I think it wouldve been cool if we could actually beat the truth out of suspects (instead of just threatening them) or taking bribes or maybe even planting evidence
-The whole black and white playback, while of course is optional, is a good idea but its not that good.

Overall, it's a good game. I wouldnt say that it will definetly be the game to beat for GOTY, but it's still damn good

8/10

I agree with you Blackman. I'm a little farther in the game, but while I was watching one of the WWII sequences, I thought to myself, I don't really care for Cole or his backstory. I'm hoping it pays off later on, but right now, I don't feel for him the same way I did for John or eve Niko.

I wear mine with Hawaiian shirts and cargo shorts. :woot: I like a wider brim than the ones posted earlier tho.

I just got to vice. I'm pretty sure Phelps' WWII flashbacks are leading up to something because of what happens in the last homicide case.

Nothing about MJ's style was *****y. Nothing. He was one of the flyest dudes on the planet.

For those who completed the Homicide cases:

Did anyone else manage to figure it out ahead of time?

I put it together during the 3rd case (Antonia) when the barkeep at the El Dorado said that only he and another guy from the temp agency was working at the bar and I remembered that we ran into a guy from the Temp Agency during the first homicide case. It made the cases going forward a little frustrating because I kept yelling at the screen I KNOW WHO DID IT!!! :D

whaaat!

I was too caught up in the small details of each case to notice, I recognized his face but not where I saw him before lol.

edit: I did know something was up though and the suspects were being framed hahah.

See, it makes you think. It's almost like you're taking a test for the police academy and ****.

I want and authentic Indiana Jones Fedora, I'd wear it with suits all the time for w/e reason!!

They should make a sequel to this game all about hunting the Zodiac killer.

Ah, I was talking about the other guy in the denim jacket, a few posts back. Fedoras nowadays just look too try hardy. Sure, MJ managed to make it work

I'm in love with this game.
I'd love to see a Liberty City spin-off, would be an amazing game.
