I wish I had me a twitter.

I guess Marvel is doing a Sif spin-off of Thor, Here's the cover art.

I like the costume, but I'd really like a longer skirt. Sif is a warrior, not a ****e.
I agree. Sif is a 6'2 , 400 pound woman who has warrior qualities. Her costume should be more bad ass than sexy.

No, actually Sif is usually one of the most covered-up women in comics. One of her earliest costumes was actually a solid white suit that covered her from neck to toe. Most of the time since the '80s she's worn something roughly like this:well doesnt the character wear skimmpy outfits like that all the time in the comics. i dont see why it needs to be to different for the film and most of the asgardians have strength and invul and all that right. So it doesnt really matter what they are wearing right.

I'm pretty sure Jane will get a bigger role. The likeliest scenario I see is that Sif will be an ex from Asgard and Jane will be the person who teaches Thor about humanity. There'll be a bit of a love triangle but ultimately Thor will choose Jane, symbolically choosing a link to humanity rather than returning to Sif and the aloofness of the other gods.I'm paranoid that Sif will be screwed over in favor of Jane Foster, since Jane's being played by the better known Natalie Portman & Sif is being played by the relatively unknown Jaimie Alexander. Who do you think will be getting the bigger chunk of screen time?![]()
Looks like she will be in the movie. She's really, really, really not in the comics, though. Jane barely appeared in Thor's comics at all for the last 15 years or so, and she was married and had a kid with another dude until JMS' run. Sif's always been around.Jane is also a bigger character than Sif (sadly).
Wouldn't surprise me.I'm pretty sure Jane will get a bigger role. The likeliest scenario I see is that Sif will be an ex from Asgard and Jane will be the person who teaches Thor about humanity. But that's all speculation.
Sad, really. How much do you want to bet, depending on how successful Thor is at the box office, that Jane will become ridiculously prominent in the comics just to satisfy new fans who know of Thor only through the film?Looks like she will be in the movie.
