Laser blasts? Or bullets?

I am sure this has been addressed on this board but I can't find it anywhere...and can't really tell from the trailer...

Does anyone know if there will be real bullets in this film? I am hoping that over 'lasers'...bullets are much cooler. I see the action figures have machine guns and pistols but that could just be for the toys....in the movie I wonder if they will use ray guns of some kind?

the lasers were used in GI JOE TAS beacuse of censorship matters the new movie should have bullets in the guns the only lasers will be in the gunsights

I got my copy of GamePro about a week ago and it labeled all of the G.I. JOE: Rise Of Cobra charaters in the game. And it said Baroness has "Dual Pulse Pistols". So I'm guessing Duke, Ripcord will have normal bullets, and Baroness will have laser guns. I'm guessing maybe COBRA invents them. Maybe The Doctor invents them...

That's probably only in the game because they want it to be an easy sell to kids.

I thought all those over the top Sci-Fi elements nearly ruined the franchise in the first place. When it stopped feeling like guns and soldiers and started feeling like a very uninspired space opera. Heck, while we're at it, why don't we just take the worst of G.I. Joe and throw it in there, lets shove in Serpentor and Cobra La. Nothing I've seen or heard about this movie looks remotely good, so I certainly won't be supporting this bomb with my money. The less it makes, the better for the franchise.

It's sad that the 25 year old comics took G.I. Joe more seriously. Larry Hama did an amazing job, especially when you concider all the crap Hasbro was probably shoveling in on him. He had the brains to refuse to even touch Cobra La.

Are you kidding me? Even GI JOE Resolute uses bullets, and it's an animation. Now for live action they will use the CGI-created laser blasts? Geez, just another reason this will turn out to be a turd like Dragonball: Evolution.
