Last Video Game You Played 2.0 - Part 1

The thing is I've only played Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and this from the Metroid series so I don't really get a real sense of the whole story and I just jump into it and give it a try, I'm not really a Nintendo guy but it's a good game though, real fun.

Yeah, to get the whole story in the games you really have to take your time and scan everything, that can get pretty time consuming if you just wanna jump in and explore and fight monsters. The games have great music and atmopshere

If you wanna play Metroid more for action than story, you might wanna try Other M, it focuses alot more on fighting. Be warned though... there are long cutscenes.

It does have a great atmosphere indeed. I'm in no rush since I don't have really the urge to get games for the Wii since I play more on mine 360 but one of these day I'll try and play the other games in the series.

I finally beat the first Bioshock a minute ago. I'm looking forward to playing the second one next.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clones Wars.

Maybe is because I'm not as familiar with the story, but I feel like I'm grinding more through this one just for the trophies than I was when I played the Complete Saga version, even though I'm no Star Wars fanatic to begin with.

Dungeons of Dredmor
A roguelike RPG with rather retro look and really addictive gameplay. It's really fun and frustrating at the same time.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Classic. :awesome:

Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine - PS3 Demo

Finally rented Mass Effect 2 and I think I'm going to go out and buy it.

Smart man.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Giving me some real nostalgia of the first one. It basically feels like an updated version of the first one, which I adore.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed
Marvel VS Capcom 2
X-Men: The Arcade Game

Playing through ME2 again. That game just never, ever gets old for me. My 360 HDD wiped a few months ago and I had to get up the gull to get through ME1 again... like, totally through it. I kept telling myself "finish this and it's on to ME2."

Not that I dislike ME1.. not at all. It was one of my most favorite games... but it hasn't aged well, IMHO... more so when compared to ME2.

I felt the same way when I went to play the first Assassin's Creed after already playing the second one. I wanted to play it to understand the story, but the changes were so much better in the second one that I ended up rushing through the game just so I could replay ACII with a better understanding of the story.

And I kinda wish the first Mass Effect was on PS3, because I'm liking the second one, but half the time I don't know what's going on or who's who because I'm not familiar with the events of the first one. I read some stuff and saw some videos, but I kinda wish I could've played through it to feel more connected to everything.

I also think it's due to the fact that I just played ME1 SOOOOO much that I don't like setting and hearing the same conversations over and over again.

Then again... I've played ME2 multiple times since it's launched and I don't have that problem. I'll probably play through both again a month or so before ME3 hits... Maybe not ME1 completely... just reload my last save and finish up the ME1 DLC.

Currently playing Dragon Age 2. Most of the quests are stupid stuff that anyone in that game could do themselves and not need a hero to do for them; lazy bastards.
Before that I played Lost Planet 2, unfortunately. Crap game, really. The ugliest designs of everything I've ever seen.
