Oh god the halloween script is down right terrible.

ms. myers tells her boyfriend to "ride an old womans tities and setp on them" if i recall correctly.

I DO think he is refering to the dark knight. Or its Indiana JOnes, eithe rway itll kick ass to have it.

But I DO also think it will not reveal much. itll probably say whose in, and what the foundation but itll defiently not say the actual plot or who lives n dies. itll hopefully mention how big of a role rachel has and possibly a car chase or something.

remember the BB review. covered act 1, the tumbler (I think) and stopped at the Batman/Judge Faden scene. so it'll be good for an overall opinion and a summary of the first 1/3rd of the movie ... and secondary characters. but it probably isn't the shooting script, assuming this is the one they claimed to have a long time back.

I wouldn't get too excited, there are plenty of sequels this could be. I think it might be Indy IV, as it's script has been more "finalized" than TDK's for about a year. TDK didnt even have a script a year ago...

Good point. I'm sure people e-mail LR about script reviews for lots of other sequels. We shouldn't assume it's TDK because they never said it was TDK.

LOL! I'm getting a gut feeling now that its going to turn out to be anything but TDK.

Well, let's analyse, just for further argument's sake:

Check back with us early next week because I may have a huge score for you guys in my next script review.

It doesn't actually say he definitely has whatever it is. That is worth bearing in mind...

Here is a hint...

You guys have been busting my balls almost everyday for the past year to review the script for this sequel that comes out next year.

Indiana Jones 4 doesn't fit this at all. People have been going on about that film for years.

So what about Star Trek? I don't recall Abrams being hired a year ago, but I may be wrong about that.

I think TDK seems a bit more likely but it could easily be something like FF2 or Sin City 2.

Discuss.

We have been since Page 2:

The fact that Lucas, Spielberg and Ford have been asked about IJ in EVERY interview since 1989 shows that there will ALWAYS be someone asking about the film, and the fact that these guys all kept hinting at another film fueled the fire. Add to that the nonstop plot rumours posted by millions of sights suggest tit IS possible that people were asking for a script review. It's not likely, but possible.

Personally, I think it might be Star Trek 11 (if not TDK ), if you look at the history between LR and J Abrams. They'd probably do it to make up for their false reports about the director's chair.

i'm thinking that it is the Dark Knight..
...wait..

I e-mailed them in September and November respectfully. IN both e-mails, they stated that they didn't want to set a concrete date for the review, and we'll just have to wait.

Now, here's the thing: From the vibe I got from the e-mails, they are tired of getting e-mails on DK. Mind you, they did announce that they were going to review the script as early as July/September.

It has to be Dark Knight. I would be surprised if it's not.

Thanks for the info. That is interesting.

I think they seriously messed up announcing it before and the no-name thing is just a way of making sure the WB ninjas don't kick down their door this time.

Yes, I'm totally backtracking on my earlier sceptisim...

honestly, i stopped because it sounded like they were annoyed.

Yeah, we'll see when next week hits.

Yes!

Indeed.

*facepalm* You'd think after all those discussions about whether the TDK trailer would be with it, that fact might have sunk in for me. :woot: :o

If this is so, then theres no way they would be releasing this Script Review next week if it is TDK.

If this review is TDK, then I think its safe to say they have been given clearance by WB. (If it was WB who stopped them from posting it the first time, which I think is what happened).

hey they should eb annoyed stupid ****s announce it for "next week" in ****in july and nows it march! ****ing what 8 or 9 months later?

....just noticed this thread has reached 4 pages of discussion...about possible news, on a possible review. :o

you love it.

In the last 3 weeks, we've heard about WB comic decisions that would rival the Nicholas cage/Burton scenario (You know, when they were almost the laughing stock of studios?) WB lump all comic-book fans as one group - insult the group, you lose their respect. They HAVE to keep the core group happy, or they'll have another B&R situation again. SR made fans think BB was a fluke (maybe, maybe not), and WB DON'T want that idea being spread around. Hence the TDK script review. If they have a situation where a well-known reviewer (LR) publicly supports the film, it gives the idea that WB is taking DC comic films seriously.

you could be right. I am not arguing a mathematical equasion here. I don't see WB going that direction, but who knows. And maybe we're both wrong, and LR snuck it out of production through a contact. i hope it's TDK.

Just revealing our knack for over analyzing every single piece of info we receive, is all. :o

that's what we do here, baby. THAT'S THE HYPE! :word:

Miranda- wear your ignorance about the FF sequel like a badge of honor. The less you know about that crap shoot, the better.

Here's the deal...I'm almost positive the Latino Boys will review the TDK script next week...that is if they can get their hands on it. The deal with the Latino group is that one or more of their group work at one of the major agencies...CAA, ENDEAVOR, WMA. It's pretty common knowledge that agencies get the entire script for casting purposes, etc. Endeavor reps Bale, so they definitely have the script lurking at their Camden street headquaarters. Another common rule is that assistants know everything. I mean everything. Who's screwing who, who's about to get fired and so on. Thus, they (assistants) have access to everything...which leads me to the conclusion that one of the Latino boys or girls knows someone at one of the major agencies...most likely at Endeavor, and they are attempting to get the script copied this weekend for review. Anyway, my long-winded explanation basically means that the script is not impossible to get. Nothing is impossible. Assistants at WB, Legendary Pictures and Endeavor have access to them at this point. The script or a review of the script will eventually leak. It's only a matter of days or weeks at the most. And I for one can't wait!

Well, what ever next week has in stall for us..i will remember these words..with great power comes great responsibilty...

**** wrong movie.

It's TDK, let's just hope it comes out when they say it's going to.......

Am I the only one who hates Latino Reviews' Script Reviews? There like the most poorly written reviews I've had the displeasure of reading. All they are, is a script summary then "Z0mg This kicks ass", then add letter grade. I'll skim it, but bah... I wish Stax at IGN was getting it :(

This is a decent script review, gives you the pros and cons of the script without revealing too much.

Now look at Latino Review...

The first quarter-half is a self indulgent rant about himself, then the rest of it is a plot summary

They don´t write the most insightful reviews, but they give a taste of the actual script and some interesting hints at what the storyline is about. As something to wet the appetite, it works for me.

The reviews are fine by me. He tells it likes it is....and gives us a feel for the tone of the story.

If this review is not for TDK, El Mayimbe es un hombre muerto...

In Russian:
Если это не рецензия сценария Темного рыцаря, Эль Мэйиби перестанет чувствовать свои ноги :D ;)
