The Dark Knight LR: Has some news for us

Alan Arkin is going to win Best Supporting Actor.

Wahlberg has no chance.

Possibely true, I am thinking that LMS hype has warn off, and the voters will realize that while being a good movie, shouldn't win any awards

but its possible pretentiousness reeks in people and LMS is one of the most pretentious movies i have ever seen

I'm still rolling with Whalberg, he did the best job in one of the best movies of year imo

and how the hell can you say he has no chance, mathematically he has what 20-25 percent

does anyone think Damon passed on Dent because of his possible involvement in the JJ Abrams Star Trek 'prequel'?

According to Damon he hasn't even been approached for Trek

For some silly reason, Pearce doesn't want to be in comic book films.

Pearce ****ing hate comic book movies. :)

I like the guy. I think Memento was very good (somewhat overrated) and L. A. Confidential is one of the best movies ever.

Having said that, he really needs to get over himself. It would actually be a good career move to get himself and his name out there in something that will make more than ten bucks at the multiplex.

I hope not. I don't want him in Star Trek either.

If they are thinking of him as a young James Kirk...well, that is just downright laughable. :whatever:

Damon in Star Trek movie? Okay.

I love just how this world gets a little bit more bizarre every day, I really do.

I think Damon passed on it cause he can pick and choose from whatever movie he wants, and whatever role he can win best actor in, cause he is that good

Yea, I totally posted like 15 random actors that I just put out their because I thought they would make a good Dent. Aaron EckHart is one of them

Eckhart would be bad ass in the role. I can't believe I forgot about him.

I listed Schreiber, Dillon, Cusack, Phoenix, and Owen.
