I'm in no way familiar with Ant-Man lore. Is this a good casting for this character?

It'll be interesting to see how they use Bill Foster. Hopefully they show some type of flashback with both him and Pym fighting together.

My only knowledge of Bill Foster is him getting killed by Clone Thor.

But we have to keep in mind that, if they're casting Bill Foster, he's an older version of the character who is a colleague of Hank Pym, so comic comparisons are tangential at best.

I restate... Getting a Fishburne to play Bill could me curtains for Hank.

I would love to see Marvel's de-aging effect on Fishbourne.

Maybe Bill Foster is the father of the woman playing "Ghost".

So I wonder was Foster a hero alongside Hank and Jan back in the day? He's roughly in their age range.

He likely helped them and worked with Pym on the particles.

Yay I love Laurence. I hope they reveal Hank is actually a supervillain and Bill becomes the new mentor

A little known Bill Foster fact is that he used to be married to Claire Temple in the comics.

That would be a interesting route to go I suppose. Would play into the whole fathers and daughters theme they are doing in these Ant-Man films.

At first I thought he'd be Goliath but didn't even think of how old he'd be so it does make sense that he probably worked with Hank.

Larry Fishburne joining the MCU especially after being a part of the DCEU as Perry White I mean this is quite a coup for Marvel

Yeah. and I wonder if they'll actually make him look thinner like he did back in the day, like when he was on Boyz in the Hood for example.

Maybe he will be the main villain that gets to die at the end and leave Ghost just defeated or captured but alive for future films. Like a Thunderbolts.

Is he going to wear this costume?

Or maybe this one

I imagine fishburne wears a variation of the ant-man suit if he suits up. Probably in a color scheme matching one of his comic outfits.

Is it safe to assume Fishburne has a pretty sizable role in this?

It's probably very likely to change

for the better or worse? I didn't read the comics so I'm not aware of his role to Ant-Man. But I figure he's a somewhat high profile actor. So I'd guess he has a big enough role to get above the title crediting. Same with Walton Goggins.

Anybody else realize that Lawrence Fishburne played Silver Surfer in a Fox film, Perry White in a DC film and is now playing Goliath in a Marvel Studios film.

From silver to white to black.

An actor playing multiple comic book movie roles? Get out!:cwink:
