I gotta imagine he doesn't wanna be reminded for his role in that terrible sequel
let's see Dr. Foster be a reliable scientist in this film, he should continue into other Marvel films.
Fishburne voiced the Surfer. Another actor actually played him.
Anyways, I like Fishburne but I feel like they should've got another actor. Like Omar Epps or Cuba Gooding jr.
And they'd have been overjoyed for the work.
As well as shown some black diversity within the genre. hahaha! I swear its like they just recycle black actors.
I just didn't expect Laurence to be in the MCU especially considering he was a part of the DCEU as Perry White
It would have been cool if Fishburne ended up playing Joe Robertson at the Daily Bugle. That would have been a very meta moment. Two newspaper editors in two universes.
I don't expect this Bill Foster to be wearing a Pym Particle suit of any kind so they didn't need a younger actor to play him. Perhaps he is Ghost's father and created her suit she wears and that will be his only involvement in the movie.
They still could've had them play older.
William "Bill" Foster also has a son named Tom Foster (see World War Hulk). Hopefully he will be brought in in Ant-Man's third movie to play Black Goliath aka Giant Man and continue his father's legacy.
This is a fantastic casting choice, maybe they could play on the idea of Goliath dying like he did in Civil War somehow? Like maybe Goliath tries to make a Thor clone and it ends up killing him?
Figured these should be shared
So the women of the MCU all wanted to get together and have a film featuring just them. How about a film with all the black heroes?
Maybe some might appear in the black panther movie sequel?
I hope we at least get to see Goliath in a flash back like we did the original Wasp in the first ANTMAN movie - and it would be nice if he suited up for A4 assuming ALL the heroes team up in that one at some point...
I don't think the people at the MCU or DCEU care if they're in one studio's films or another. Why should it?
For them, a paycheck is a paycheck.
I get the impression that Laurence Fishburne is actually a fan (isn't he producing the Moon Girl cartoon or something?), but genre fans might appreciate being in either. Being in a Superman story is cool. Being in a Marvel film is also cool.
Only if they let Robert Downey Junior reprise his role as Kirk Lazarus.
Its a bit of a shame they didnt use bill foster more honestly. But at least hes not a villain.
Gosh Lawrence is such an amazing actor. I kept expecting Jenifer Lewis to come round the corner and yell at him though lol
...or all the men of the MCU...
I was worried he was going to end up being a villain but I'm glad he wasn't.
I'm interested in seeing/hearing more about his past in Shield and what he got up to as Goliath.
