Yeah Gambit in a X-kids movie is bad. Basicly they're telling Gambit to go sit at kids table because they won't let him play with the big boys. You know the actual X-men.

I don't know why people are saying that Simon is lying. Someone doesn't *have* to be in a script to go for a casting session. He was considered very early on, I thought that was known, and very early on he was removed because they wanted him to have a bigger role and not feel forced.

IMO people should take this as a good sign, mainly because of what Lauren has said about them wanting more movies. He would be a strong character to bring in and have a lot of focus on. X4, or the X-Kids movie seems likely as people have been guessing.

And when is that going to be? 2009? 2010? 2011? Thats a pretty long wait to swallow. Especially when the likes of Quills, Arclight and Phat are getting screen time in this movie (the third).

I think the ideas was been toyed with was to have Multiple Man, Gambit, Avalanche and Cannonball as mutants Magneto breaks out. Those were ultimately ditched.

If they put him in as some bit part, in any of the films, Gambit fans would be complaining because his part wasn't big enough. But they obviously couldn't make any of the films center around him because, well that'd be ******ed. So they left him out because they, for some reason, believe he's an important character who deserves more attention, probably starring in a solo flick. Personally, I believe that he only deserves a Nightcrawler-sized role and nothing more, but they might think he's a big enough draw on his own to possibly carry his own movie or something.

Well some people just wouldn't accept it, and their dellusions lead to a very big disappointment.

It's not HIM as Gambit that I'm disappointed I won't see...

It's the fact that Gambit wasn't cut out as early as Kinberg has led us to believe... actors came in to audition for the part!

Gambit was promised to us since before X2, and when we didn't get him there, the promises were that he'd be around the next time. This is the next time, he was in the original drafts, and they even auditioned actors for the part, and they still decided to cut him.

It's just hard to not feel like these guys really don't give a flying **** about the character or his fans, and have no remorse what so ever about leading us on for 3 years, only to just drop him like a bad habit, and expect us to accept their lies because they had no other choice.

Which is exactly why I won't PAY to see this movie. Brett RatBastard Simon DingleBerg can kiss my ace, cheat us out of Gambit and I'll cheat you outta profit. And I am not ALONE
