The Dark Knight Ledger: Joker darker more sinister

DAMN

Joker being a PG version of Malcom MCDowell in ClockWork ORange.

HELL YES !!!!!!!!!!!!
CONSIDER MY TICKET ALLREADY BOUGHT.

I can only imagine him beating Rachel in the rain :

That scene would be complete with his taping Rachel's mouth and raping her.
:up

I'm just singing in the rain , just singin in the rain

Oh my god, he must do that. Beat Rachel (or someone else) up in the rain while singing that. It's a must.

...buncha sickos you guys really are. I thought killing Rachel was a little out there, but...rape? With her mouth taped? And you're actually eager to want that in the film?

Yeeeaaah. The rape's kinda stretching it.

Why not?

It would shatter any predisposed notion of the Joker that Nicholson instated. Nicholson was great ---

but now it is time for an all-out psycho. It is time to reinstate what a crazy person really is.

ALRIGHT: Maybe not rape. But greatly mishandling/manhandling and/or taping her mouth shut. That would be good.

First, this is a great quote.

Second, there will be no rape in this film.

I believe there are far more classier and sophisticated ways of portraying a psychotic Joker. All this Rachel blood/rape-mongering has to stop. It's really getting out of hand now.

Yeah. WB WILL want kids to go to this, after all.

im gonna ask my dad if he has the paper today,i want that article!

^The question is did kids go to BB??? I dont think so because if they did BB would have made over 300M domestically.

Yes they did.

Just like Batman and Robin did? Sure, Batman Begins was more for teenagers/young adults, but to say kids didn't see it is ridiculous. It's ****ing Batman.

you gottam sickos . . . besides, Rape=R-rating

Kids didn't go to B & R it was utter crap so why would they have gone???

Regardless of rating, Joker shouldn't be a rapist. It just doen'st seem like the kind of thing he'd be into doing. I dont think Joker has EVER been portrayed as a rapist.

The need to change the rating systems to like a PG-15 or something in the middle... it should at least be like a PG 14 or something... then again what does a year's difference gonna make anyways... can anyone give me some really sinister villains in a PG13 movie?

Again, yes they did.

Because, as Rynan put it oh so elequently, IT'S MOTHER****ING BATMAN.

It was an ideal kid movie: simple plot, comedy, action, cool costumes and gadgets and cars, ****ing Batman.

I'll say it again. To say kids didn't go to Batman Begins, or even Batman and Robin for that matter, is ridiculous.

You like it or not... economically B&R still made a big profit for WB. Then we can discuss on which level of absolute crappyness stands the film, but the profit was made.

But when was the last time we saw a brutal murder in a PG13 is the question we should be asking...
