I am a fast typer, but it'll always be more expedient to talk and I feel like a lot of people get annoyed if you join a co-op game without a mic. You also can't call attention to yourself quickly enough with the keyboard if you're getting attacked.

Huh I've never experienced that. Though I do see alot of hate from people who generally suck at the game and blame others for their suckiness.

I'm starting to really dig the new DLC. Survival mode is awesomely addicting when you have a good team.

Survival mode? Is that pretty much a long version of the last part of each "Chapter"? Having to defend through waves of zombies.

It's kind of like Horde in Gears 2. Basically, you get to pick from certain scenarios that are modified areas of campaign chapters (ie: the sewer from Death Toll) and you see how long you can survive as the AI director pours hordes and hordes of zombies at you.

Most of the time you don't last more than 3 or 4 minutes. You have to fight a Tank every 40 second mark, so at 40 seconds, 1 minute 40 seconds, etc. It's insane.

The "new" versus maps are great fun, too. It's just too bad that it's usually impossible to play an entire match without people quitting out.

Eh, I never liked versus. I played the maps we had initially like 3 or 4 times and found the whole mode just isn't for me. I like being a survivor all the time and having to battle the AI's scary intelligence. If you've got a good bunch of players, it ramps things up to bloody obscene levels. I got killed once literally right on the building directly in front of the helicopter in No Mercy because we'd fought off the hordes so well that the AI randomly decided to throw a giant swarm of normal zombies, a couple smokers, and two tanks at us right as we left the radio building to rush to the helicopter.

Eh, i was wrong. Apparently you can preload it, but can't get it unless you pre-order the game, which I might do tomorrow when I get paid anyway. Oh well.
