Legendary friendships and relationships

Thought I'd add Homer and Marge Simpson. What a phenomenal love story those two have, in the longest running sitcom in history. Through all of his crap, all of the trouble the kids and townspeople bring that family, Marge has stayed true and Homer always makes things right.

I don't agree with Jaws and TDK, they where legendary alliances to be sure, two of cinema's best, but these guys where always at each others throats.

The two I'm going to post aren't legendary, but feel so incredibly genuine that they're my two favourites.

The first is Robert De Niro and Jean Reno in Ronin:

The second is Christian Baleand Steve Zahn in Rescue Dawn:

Just by their interactions you can feel these actors were enjoying working with each other an their legitiamte friendships made their performances feel real.

The first is Robert De Niro and Jean Reno in Ronin:

That one is legendary. I don't care what people say... but that one should go down in cinematic history as a legendary friendship. And Ronin is so underrated/appreciated... I forget which covers it.

D'oh, my mind totally blocked relationships for some reason. Yes, the Jaws and TDK triumverates fully belong here.

Ronin sucks? Never. Fake accents? Hell yes. That was the only thing I found wrong with it.

But just the fact that those two trust each other so much as if they were friends since childhood... and they're just hired help in a job and never met before...... Ronin rocks. That pretty much sums it up.

More recently, it would be Trent and Mikey in Swingers. Basically, Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau in their movies together.

I just can't get over how genuinely De Niro and Reno play it. It's like they honestly became friends at the same time as their characters.
