Interesting in that from the trailer at least it seems that they are going back to the silent characters of the early Lego games rather than using film audio like nearly all of their recent games.

This looks legitimately amazing, and I cannot wait. The trailer got me as a fan of Star Wars, LEGO and video game. They stepped their gameplay up a lot it seems. So excited. :mrk:

So glad that they're finally making big gameplay changes to their formula, this game looks like it's going to be something really special, if it's half as good as it looks it'll be one of the best Star Wars games yet. Very curious to see how free-roam will work in this game. I think it'd be cool if they eventually did something like this for the shows as well, a game that adapts the best stories of Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandalorian would be sick.

The gameplay looks fun as hell, especially the vehicle levels. Even though I'll always love the original two Lego Star Wars games, I will say there's room for improvement since they've really taken the Lego games to some fun places in the last 15 years. I'm also getting the feeling it's going to be a long game if they're implementing that much over the span of nine films.

I'm just wondering if they'll also be including anything from outside of the nine film Skywalker saga since that moment with Vader in the trailer is clearly from Rogue One.

A couple of sites are saying that four of the six character packs are Rogue One, Solo, The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch.

If that's the case then I'm guessing the other two are Clone Wars and Rebels.

This game looks like it will be all sorts of fun

Sucks it got pushed back. I had pre-ordered from Best Buy awhile back to get the Han in carbonite steelcase

It got pushed back again. Not really surprised given how it’s been happening to every other game this year and Tt Games has been quiet about it for a while, but I still had hope that they could make the spring release.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker delayed, new release date coming "as soon as possible" | GamesRadar+
COVID!!! :argh:

I am so hyped for this. It feels like a real step in the direction of making LEGO games more substantial. Maybe we will see it in the summer. :(

Yeah not a surprise considering it had no date other than just saying spring and we are now like 2 weeks into spring and we had no update before the other day. I was hoping we would get a date other than just saying its not spring and we are still working on it type of thing.

Them not giving any sort of new window makes me think this could get pushed to 22. It's disappointing but if they need more time to make it the best Star Wars game they can then it's for the best.

It certainly looks a lot better than the Lego games I used to play (haven’t played one in a good while though).

Yeah, everything we've seen so far looks fantastic, really hope this delivers when it finally comes out in five years.

If you wanna play some newer ones I’d say Lego Jurassic World and Marvel Superheroes 2. Both are excellent. Oh and also Batman 3 Beyond Gotham.

Oh thanks for the recommendations mate. They are all in areas I like too.
