Yeah, which means he's going to be a villain we probably only see at night. Because CGI is expensive, but dark and shadowy CGI is less so.

Be prepared for the shocking death of Iris West, only to have Joe West take her place. No worries though. Jessie L. Martin will return in two episodes as Earth-14's Max Mercury.

I'm hoping Savitar will turn out to be future Barry, and that all the consequences of his repeated time fudgeries has led him to become this monster. Which would allow him to realize his mistake, take responsibility for it, and move on, a wiser person. AND NEVER ALTER THE PAST AGAIN FOR SELF-SERVING REASONS. For the love of God, please.

It won't though. It'll be Hipster Wells or something and nothing will change.

On the other hand... Has there ever been a holodeck that hasn't malfunctioned in some way? Maybe people work out in crazy events to stay in shape to survive the next time they want to "relax"?
