Let's just say that all rights have been suspended for one and only one crossover movie-that's comics from TWO separate publishers-to be made. No sandbagging from previous film continuity, no restrictions of any kind. (Apart from only using 2 properties, that is.) If you had the power to make this happen, what would your movie be?

I dreamed of stuff like this since I was five! God, I'd love to have an amalgam comics event where Marvel and DC heroes/villains merge to make one. Or just a regular Marvel vs. DC movie.

Raimi Spider-Man meets Movie spider-man.

would be hilarious.

I would like to see one shots with different directors and writers doing stories of the characters without worrying about whether a sequel would be warranted. I'd also like to see Elseworlds and What-if's.

Batman vs. Grendel

Because Matt Wagner's original mini-series is terrific.

Ben Grimm is chosen instead of Hal Jordan to be the Green Lantern of Sector 2814.

Batman vs The Punisher could be good, you have had similar situations in the comics with Daredevil going after the Punisher, and Batman going after the Black Spider, always good to see the vigilantes going at each other, while at the same time trying to take down the same villans by different means.

I haven't read the Batman vs Punsher book they did, only read the first couple of pages online, but thought i would save it until i got the actual book, as i don't like reading comic sonline so much.

an adaptation of the 2nd Superman/Spider-man team up book would be awesome, keeping the Hulk and Wonder Woman cameos too of course. DrDoom was a great antagonist for Superman.

JLA vs Avengers would be awesome, could it be done in one movie without being cluttered though? If it were made into two movies, yeah, I would go for this one.

Not sure about them taking on each other. But maybe reluctantly united to team up for some global threat might work. Alien invasion?

Aw man, you have to have that in every cross company crossover, before they team up later. We all want to see Thor take on Superman, Cap vs Batman, She-Hulk vs Wonder Woman, Green Lantern vs Iron-Man, Jonn Jonzz vs the Vision , Hawkeye vs Green Arrow, Flash vs Quicksilver, Atom vs Ant-Man, Zatanna vs Scarlet Witch etc
They could do it like the book, have some cosmic folk pit them against each other in the first movie before they figure out what's really going on and take on the bad guys in the second film.
Maybe too ambitious for a live action flick, but maybe they could animate it one day.

I must admit, I like the mental image of Thor clocking Superman into the middle of next week.
