I don`t have this comic, but could you help me try to find a way to purchase it? Its a comic I only know of, never seen it. Its 64 pages long with a holografx metallic cover, issue #375, deals with spidey and venom fighting with the lives of the web swingers parents at stake. Its a battle between spidey/venom that was advertised to be "the battle you have waited 30 years for"...by David Michelinie, Mark Bagley, and Randy Emberlin. It celebrated the 30th anniversary of "The amazing spiderman" #1. I have always wanted this comic. DO YOU HAVE IT, SEEN, OR READ IT?!

It's this comic here:

If you want to give it a read before buying, check Donald Thomas' website. I'm pretty sure he has it for downloading.

And here I thought my Spidey knowledge would really be put to a test...

Like naming the first comic where Peter places a paper bag over his head to conceal his identity?

:yay:

I don't remember the issue, but didn't he tussle with the FF for that one, specifically the Torch?

Or was it the Torch that gave him the paperbag? man that was a long time ago

It was Amazing 258, and the torch also put a kick me sign on his back.

Yes, that did happen in ASM #258, but it wasn't the first time Peter put a paper bag over his head to conceal his identity.

So that's not the correct answer.

Anyone? Anyone?

:yay:

Really? I had no idea it happened more then once... What was it???

Well, that would be telling... :cwink:

I'll give you guys another day or two to come up with the right answer. :yay:

Read all your Spidey related Essentials... (7 ASM ones, 3 PPSSM ones & 2 MTU's)

WOW, thank you guys!!! is it an awesome comic?! When I was much younger I used to always be so mad to see the advertisement and not the comic...
