Endgame Lets Talk Avengers 4 and what we know #Spoilers?

I could believe Stark flipping off Thanos. This is the same guy who called Maw "Squidward" when he first saw him. I'd probably laugh.

I've noticed one thing all these leaks have in common is how little they talk about the Guardians after all the characters return. Not that there has been a lot of comments on the specifics anyways, but still.

I hope he doesn't. I know Stark is one to make a joke even in dire times. But if this really his swan song, I don't want to end it on something like that.

Watched the leaked footage. I love the scruffy look of Thor. Especially when his eyes are glowing. The scruffy beard and hair is more how I'd expect the mythological Thor to look. Like something Vikings would envision. I don't even mind that he's put on some weight.

Not sure how I feel about Cap fighting Cap. I feel like past Cap wouldnt attack future Cap. Hed be weary and suspicious for certain, but I think he would here future Cap out and cooperate. I think future Cap would have to do something particularly nefarious to get past Cap to attack him. This just seems like something the Russo's thought would be neat, and not something that actually holds up to close scrutiny. But I hope the film changes my mind.

"On your left..." put a big ol smile on my face. Cap there alone and out of options and then the cavalry arrives. And OMG what a cavalry it is! That battle is going to be insane!

Cap summoning Mjolnir, standing at the head of that massive army and saying "Avengers assemble."...

I still dont like Professor Hulk at all.

Past Cap attacking future Cap makes total sense in the circumstances. You have to remember that the moment happens just after an epic fight against a trickster God who can create illusions and disguise himself as others. Past Cap probably figures that future Cap is Loki trying to escape or something.

I'm sorry , I don't care about any stupid dance with Peggy. I don't know why people are so hung up on that dance. I thought Steve moved on, why would he think about dancing with Peggy while dying. He kissed her grandniece in civil war hours after Peggy's funeral, if that's not moving on, I don't know what is.

Fair enough. I don't care about the idea of returning to that dance either but I'm more saying if they had to return to that I'd prefer they do it like this. Now that I think about I'm kind of fine either way. I have no particular attachment to how I think it should be done. Even if the Russos disappoint me in that area if the delivery in almost everything else then I'm good.

This kinda makes sense because all that main artwork and the poster released today includes all the people we saw in Qunatum suits AND Okoye and CM

Probably a lie and just wishful thinking. My only evidence against that would be that we've seen artwork of every character we know for a fact will be time-traveling in the quantum suits. The only difference between the artwork and the footage we've seen (both released and leaked) is how War Machine's suit looks and Thor's hair.

Maybe the idea of Cap going back in time for Peggy is a dumb idea. But I think it's great that he was able to keep his promise. Yes, he kissed Sharon after the funeral but (I know it sounds cheesy) Peggy is still his first love and I bet he still wanted to keep his promise to her.

The reasons it’s dumb have to do with it being established canon that Peggy had a loving full marriage after Cap, which Cap would be erasing. Erasing future kids. All while brainwashed Bucky and HYDRA work in the shadows.

Not to mention let a brainwashed Bucky kill his friend, Howard Stark and Stark's wife Maria, parents to his other friend Tony.

I guess they could say, him going back he gets his memories tampered with so it doesn't effect the future, and that the family she has is actually his, and he is actually closing a loop.

Still, even if that was the case, it makes you wonder how did he die? Peggy's husband is obviously long dead, if he went back and more or less retired, then unless he was killed some type of way, you would expect him to have some type of longevity, Peggy was still alive, so a retired Steve still on Super serum should still be around as well. In fact, if Peggy was one of the early main leaders in SHIELD, Steve would be right there with her if he was alive.

Its just the more you think about it, the more its a mess to have Steve retire in the past.

I really think the best you can hope for is that if Steve dies, he meets her on a dance floor (with Howard & Maria Stark, the Howling Commandoes and any other dead friends he has present in the dance hall) in the same vein Rose met Jack at the end of Titanic.

I guess if Cap stays back in time while also remaining Captain America, it wouldn't be as bad. That way he can get a head start on saving Shield and Bucky from Hydra.

But there's still the thing of preventing Peggy from meeting having her family. But maybe that's not a big deal so long as it's a different timeline.

I was okay with Steve staying in the past at first but then I realized I'm not sure how him remaining as Captain America in the past would work. He'd change the MCU for the most part. He'd be reckless even worse than the flash all for a dance.

Maybe let him go back for that dance then come home right after. Don't be alternating Peggy's life and future over it. He loves her but at least he got to see her again and said good bye.

Either get written out by being New Shield' s new director or retire or kill him of by sacrifice!

Mmm... Cap remaining Cap in the past... I guess it wouldn't be a bad ending for him, but unless they start going into alternate timeline/multiverse stuff I don't see how that can work, it's too drastic of a change for the rest of the MCU, including films like Captain Marvel and Black Panther who rely on its established history. The only advantage I see about this over, say, making him the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. (for example) is that it's easier to write Evans out of future appaerances.
