Leverage on TNT

Anyone else lol'd at Parker's abode? Especially with those columns upon columns of cereal? I tell you, that girl's been constantly eating cereal ever since the season 2 opener. :D

I've just seen the first episode of S3 (we don't get this show in Canada, so I have to rely on "alternative means" to watch it).

I'm not so sure about the overarching plotline of them working for another shadowy group; it reminds me of the A-Team's last crap season when they were going on missions for Robert Vaughn. But I really like this show, so I'll be curious to see where it goes.

epi 3 & 4 were damn good...... great to see a part of what goes on in that zany Parker's life.... and i love how they all just froze when Hardison played his solo...Was Parker the only one crying?

just who is that chick??

I don't know who she is, the way she's talking...Im thinking she works for the Vatican

Whats the betting she's gonna turn out to be working for a rival of the dude she's tasked the team on?

or that...Im thinking whoever the competition is just wants to get rid of this criminal financier guy and instead of taking him head on, use Nate and the team to get to him and draw him out

My guess is that she's the daughter of a South American corporate tycoon, who was rich but relatively honest, who was murdered by Damian, and she wants to get revenge. That's the only way I think that the show can retain its moral integrity, rather than have them working for a rival criminal organization.

Unless we learn at the end of S3 that the team is working on a double-cross side con against Mrs. Clooney and her organization as well.

That would make a damn interesting finale.... which 'evil' do they 'back' ?

She's Italian and very Catholic

The actress or the character? I haven't seen eps 2-3 yet.

In any event, just change it to a European business tycoon then. Don't see what her religion has to do with anything: she has armed mercenaries in her employ, and she's used death threats, so I think she's not above doing immoral things.

Re: the Vatican, interesting idea but I'd be surprised if that's the case. Admittedly, this show has a certain "heartland" quality about it, but these days the Vatican is a little too controversial for most people to accept as an altruistic organization. On the flip side, the very PG and middle-America orientation of the show makes a Da Vinci Code treatment of the Vatican also too controversial.

I doubt this, because in the last episode, it was implied that she just got done apprehending an international fugitive on her own. That also implies that she's not entirely a bad guy...unless the apprehension of the fugitive was to recruit him/her. Then again, the fact that she has insight into State Dept. affairs, and even command an investigation of a major company as shown in her first appearance, shows that she isn't entirely private sector.

I'm thinking Interpol or Vatican. The Vatican IS a recognized soveregn state with its own government and international ties and intrigue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Vatican_City

the character, she's made mention of Rome and "being in the service of the Lord" and sometimes that means having to do bad things to further the greater good

she's Italian, her accent is dripping with it...how do you get South American out of that??

I reckon she represents a 'black bag' government agency that wants to use Nate and his crew to take down difficult targets. The finale won't just see them taking the criminal down but also gain some sort of leverage against her (or her group) in order to prevent her from further manipulating them.

So, last nights episode....

It's infuriating that I still can't watch this show up in Canada, and have to rely on lesser-quality online sources, or buying DVD sets (which I don't like to do for TV shows).

Completely forgot about this thread.

And just saw the season 4 news. :awesome:

I wonder if we'll ever see another crew vs. crew episode. Maybe a way of bringing Tara Cole and whoever Wesley Crusher played back.

Chaos (Wil Wheatons character) will be back this season....in a Christmas themed episode

:awesome:

I'm still hoping that Sterling and Cole will form an "Injustice League" counterpart to Nathan's crew for a two-episode arc. Maybe including Chaos and perhaps the other two (the male cat burglar and the ex-Mossad hottie) from season 2.
