Leverage on TNT

So i'm guessing it's good? I meant to watch the show from the start but never got around to doing so.

It's great! Think A-Team meets Ocean's Eleven meets Mod Squad, but funnier in spots and less campy where older shows would be. It's also deeper than what you see at first glance.

I might be just one voice in the middle of the mountain, but I called "Life" after I saw the pilot, when people were saying that it'll get cancelled just based on its premise. I think I'll take credit for this one too. :woot:

It's on my short list of shows I haven't had to cringe to watch [so far] this season, which includes Lost, Life, Burn Notice and Psych.

It's sort of like the US version of Hustle. Yet still it's own thing.

Just watch the first episode and you'll get hooked.

Timothy Hutton has always been a favorite of mine (especially in Playing God) and the rest of the cast is solid....even the pilot is fantastic, which isn't the case for most shows

Hardison - “Have you ever been to Kiev? The Cakemaker of Kiev would whoop all our asses. This is the Butcher.”

What an ending to that last episode!

Can't wait to see the season finale, and what it's going to mean for next season.

I haven't checked this show out but I've seen a ton of commercials...is that Christian Kane from Angel with the long hair?

Awesome finale. Awesome show. Can't wait for summer.

I still find it breathtaking how they can mix humor with drama so well, without it feeling forced.

What a sweet victory at the end. Love it. She should have kicked him while he was down. :p

So psyched that we don't have to wait until next year. 16 episodes starting in the summer! :D

Oh, and anyone who needs a con game fix until the summer should check out Hustle. That and Leverage fill my 'anti-hero' quota quite nicely.

picked up season 1....nice set, episodes are in order of production, I think...not that it matters to me...still a great show

was a good episode tonight. I really like the dynamic between Elliott and Hardison. Elliott may be my favorite character so far this season, i just like the way he's being written and how we're seeing a little insight into him too

i don't dislike her by any means, but the only one i haven't really connected with from the "team" is Sophie. I'd like to see an episode where she can really shine. also i'm not counting Nate lol just cuz

I agree. They've really been filling out Elliott's backstory the last couple of episodes.

As for Sophie, she needs some more comedic interaction with the rest of the group during a con (like Hardison, Elliott, and Parker have been). When she does get it, it's usually with Nate. But that is sort of her character's job. Working alone as the Lure that makes the con irresistible to the marks.
