Endgame Little Touches you've noticed or enjoyed

Huh..After seeing this movie almost 10 times already, I am annoyed with myself that I have never seen the Skrulls there.
I saw:
Howard the Duck
but not a Skrull. Damn.
They're Skrull. They imitate the enemy to get close enough to strike :ndd:

1) One little tidbit about Steve is that he is a bad liar or dislikes liars. In Endgame, we see him convincingly lie twice (to the HYDRA as SHIELD agents and to Hank Pym), showing how his character has changed from the "goody little two shoes" in the earlier appearances. He also cusses quite a bit and uses underhanded means against 2012 Cap ("Bucky is alive!" and using the scepter on him) to accomplish his tasks.

2) The Ancient One asks Bruce why Strange would give up the Time Stone willingly. This makes her words in Doctor Strange regarding not being able to see past the point of death hold true, as she wasn't alive for when Strange would do that.

3) Strange may have told Tony in IW that he would outright give up either Tony or Peter if it means keeping the Time Stone safe, but he arguably still does give up both of them for the one "winning" future. He gave up Peter as a casualty of the snap and beckoned Tony implicitly to sacrifice himself to stop Thanos for good.

4) While 2014 Thanos does not get to use the Gauntlet or the Infinity Stone powers like IW Thanos for much of Endgame, the one time he does with the Power Stone, he uses it with his left hand and clenches his fist to activate it, just like IW Thanos would do with the Infinity Gauntlet. (Of course, having a right handed Gauntlet being prevented from usage can only mean the opposite hand would be free)

I think I caught something but would like someone else to confirm...
The way Tasha goes she uses one of her wrist/ widow bite weapons to keep Clint attached to the cliff face when we get to her death scene. It's on Clint's person. Later back on Earth I think you can see it on Clint's wrist and I think he uses it during his scramble out of the tunnels when the outriders are chasing him. He fires a grappling line to get away from them right before he runs into past Nebula. Am I off? Did anyone else notice this?

Upon watching IW again, I noticed that Thanos's face at the end post-snap is nowhere near as damaged as it's portrayed in the beginning of Endgame. Makes me think he had to snap again to destroy the stones as opposed to using just, say, the power stone to destroy the rest of them and then itself.

Well they literally said the the second time there was an energy spike like the snap was when he destroyed the stones.

I got the impression that Nat looped only the grappling line around Clint's belt, rather than detaching her entire bracelet.
In the trailer scene onboard the Benatar where Clint puts his hand on her shoulder, he already has a Widow-like bracelet on. That scene wasn't included in the movie, so who knows how canon it is.

It's a nice thought that Clint would wear some kind of momento for her.

The Hot Toys action figure of Hawkeye/Ronin shows he had a wrist-mounted crossbow for most of the movie.

In Captain America: Civil War, Steve gives up his Shield to Tony.
In Avengers: Endgame, Tony gives up his Nano Suit to Steve.

Thanks. This is why I wanted confirmation from somebody else. Looks like I was wrong.

In the final battle Steve tells Scott to start up the Quantum tunnel to send the stones away. Hope is with him and she responds "We're on it Cap!" and smiles at Scott, which is a nice call back to A-M&TW when Scott is talking about Germany to her and she chides him about Scott's supposed familiarity with Captain America by referring to him as Cap.

The scene with Scott eating tacos outside of the compound and then the ride into Tonsberg reminded me so much of a Wes Anderson flick. Anyone else get that vibe?

Rhodey was the first one who found Tony in the desert after he escaped the Ten Rings in Iron Man.
Rhodey was also the first one who found Tony on the battlefield after the final snap in Endgame.

Thor's line "Lunch and then Asgard" which obviously references the A1 post cred scene.

It raises the same old question of what they did with Loki, but it's a nice touch none the less.

I loved how when the usual Marvel logo/opening played, they digitally removed all of the snapped heroes. It was subtle, but so eerie and well-fitting.

I thought they were smiling because they were happy to be working together again, especially since Scott didn’t bring her to Germany during Civil War.

Felt like I was the only one who caught that!! That is such a vague and discreet call back. You really have had to been paying attention to A-M&TW for that one!

The placement of the stones in EG and IW are the same. Is there a significance to this?

When Rocket and Banner were at Thor's place in New Asgard, Rocket started crying when he realized how depressed Thor had become.

Clint called Lyla "Hawkeye" when she hit a bullseye, something I'm sure everyone noticed. It did make me wonder if he'll be training his daughter to replace him and not Kate Bishop.

One thing I noticed that MUST have been a running joke with the writers/directors. There are about 4 (or more) uses of the word "idiot" in this movie.

1. Nebula to Rhodey about Scott when they arrive at the Avengers facility, "there's an idiot in the landing zone."
2. Rhodey to Nebula about Quill on Morag. "so he's an idiot..."
3. Black Widow to Hawkeye, "I'm trying to save your life idiot"
4. (There's one more but I forgot it. Someone should find it next time they go see the movie.)

Also they say "****" (the s word) about 5 times in this film. Which is definitely above average for a pg-13 flick. Perhaps even more than is usually allowed.
1. Tony when he discovers time travel
2. Morgan
3. Morgan again
4. Tony again
5. (one more but I forgot it lol. My memory is bad. Pretty sure it was in an action scene.)

Cap says it when his past self catches him getting away with the scepter

I noticed a nice call back to IW when the group are all together discussing time travel you see Hulk eating a Ben N Jerrys "Hunk a Hulk Fudge" that Wong says he prefers lol

Haven't seen this mentioned in this thread but notice this conversation in A1:

Stark: "Hey, I've read all about your accident. That much gamma exposure should have killed you."

Banner: "So you're saying that the Hulk... the other guy... saved my life? That's nice. It's a nice sentiment. Save it for what?"

Stark: "I guess we'll find out."

In EG prior to the unsnap:

Smart Hulk: "You saw what those stones did to Thanos, they almost killed him. None of you could survive."

Cap: "How do we know you will?"

Smart Hulk: "You don't. But the radiation's mostly gamma. It's like I was made for this."

:applaud
