Liv Tyler is Betty Ross

Sadly it wasn't. I couldn't even tell if she was actually in the room or not. It almost looked like a fever dream spliced and stitched together

Haha I felt the same way! Also the phone call when you hear her voice she sounded so emotionless I wondered if she even interacted with Harrison Ford at all or if she had just been told to read the lines as monotone as possible so they could use them later.

At least she looked great for her 15 second cameo.

Well, I'm sure that Liv Tyler was at least paid handsomely for her services!

I'll take what I can get. :D Very happy to get anything at all after all this time.

I rewatched Ad Astra a couple of days ago, and that was another where she was utilized as minimally as possible

I was so disappointed.

Was Liv Tyler even on set? It looks like her cameo was created from stock footage and CG.

To revisit so many things from the Hulk family of characters, elements were so badly delivered and executed. Could they not get Liv Tyler on set for a few days?

I think giving Betty more screen time would have just drawn more attention to the lack of Bruce Banner, so I actually think it was one of the smarter choices the film made—though I won’t argue that the material given to Liv Tyler (or lack thereof) had all the room for improvement.

Even if she was just given more in the opening news exposition; that would have been something. Show us CSPAN footage of her testifying against her father at a Senate hearing rather than just telling just she’s estranged and inserting a photograph.

Plus, I think we could have checked up on her at least one point during the movie. Maybe after the assassination attempt, we see her react to the news in her home and consider calling her father. And inside her home we see an old photo of her and Bruce.

From the other thread, it looked like she was on set more than what we saw on screen. She probably shared screentime with Sabra.

Its just too bad, Marvel Studios love to resurrect these characters from their earlier films, yet they couldn't even do that to the love interest from their 2nd ever movie? She's also part of the main billing, so I'm even more confused about the blink and you miss it role. Even Bucky got more screentime/lines and Sebastian Stan wasn't even credited in the main billing iirc.

I literally thought the same thing. It didn't help that I forgot that she was announced as being in this movie, so I thought she straight up wasn't and they scrambled to do something. But the fact that her appearance was leaked tells me she was on set.

She was on set with the actress that played Sabra. Based on what was posted in the other thread.

Well, I hope we see Liv somewhere in the MCU future.

Marvel Studios' The Incredible Hulk Returns

This movie should have been that anyway!
To be fair, if it wasnt for The Incredible Hulk and, to a lesser extent, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, this movie would not even have A PLOT! And, I LIKED the film.
