I hope that they don’t take that viewpoint. General audiences know who Wonder Woman is. They know who Aquaman and Batman and the Flash are. The former sidekicks should have their time to shine and be defined for who they are and not who their partners were.

I really like Diana. I just feel like she tends to be written inconsistently. So I generally prefer Donna and maybe Artemis.

But Greg Rucka Wonder Woman? That’s a different story. I take Rucka’s WW any day of the week.

I think when it comes to the original 5 members, I’d like to see them all but Robin and Wally are the most important to me.

I don’t think Donna is a very interesting character at all. I always preferred Cassie Sandsmark’s Wonder Girl. Donna doesn’t feel different enough from Wonder Woman to justify her existence. I’ve read a lot of Teen Titans over the years and she just never resonated with me.

Also if we’re discussing the original 5, I like Kaldur as Aqualad much more than Garth. And yes, this is entirely based on the Young Justice show. I have read a lot of Aquaman and Titans comics with Garth and the character never grabbed me the same way that Kaldur in YJ did.

I think it’s probably best to just start with the animated series lineup. It’s the most iconic at this point, and each character has such a distinct personality that contributes to a really fun team dynamic.

I’m so glad this movie is in development. I remember clear back in like 07 when Mark Verheiden was hired to write a Titans movie. So this is cool to see after all these years of waiting.

Reading this is like looking into a funhouse mirror because we have exact opposite thoughts on these characters.
