She was not her mother

Laura had never seen the outside world let a alone a horse before was just a natural reaction for a young girl.

Eden was made up in a comic book it wasn't real

So the eight mutants we saw in the new future scene from Dofp? Meaning Scott, Jean, Ororo, Marie, Hank, Bobby, Kitty and Peter? Oh dear.

They are not named but you would imagine it's the main ones. Although I expect most would hope Mystique was amongst the casualties.

Those have seen it, how does it rank with the MCU and Nolanverse films? Where would you place it?

Way above most of the MCU and pretty much on par with The Dark Knight.

Yeah I think at one point a natural mutant hasn't been born for so many years is actually said.

And also, whether the Eden really exists or not... Laura has kind of found it, anyway, by joining her new friends. Even if it's not there, those guys will probably grow up to create an Eden for future mutants, inspired by the heroics of Wolverine and the X-Men. What matters is that to Laura (and maybe the other kids, as well) it does exist.

The movie is actually also a loving tribute to comic books and the heroes we love, and about how they can inspire people and give them hope.

Yeah I mean it's not impossible and I can see that a fair few will want that but with Fox you can never tell, lol. It's great that another popular character has been introduced and something will need to fill Wolverine/Hughs void that is left now.

what obsession with horses? she was just curious, she spent her entire life in a hospital. and it was stated by that woman in the video that laura wasnt her kid.

seriously, its not the movies fault that you dont pay attention and focus on stuff that, franky, doesnt really matter.

There are loads of reason why Laura had an 'obsession' with the horses:-

1. She's Feral, as you can tell by the way she attacks people
2. As she has Logan DNA, she has some kind of connection to Animals. Like Wolverine does.
3. The most obvious reason is she's interested in them because she's never seen them, just like she was interested in the toy horse at the supermarket.

Out of the entire movie, you're wondering why a child raised in captivity is interested in horses...

Sequel? Nah. Spinoff? Yeah.

They shouldn't even worry about a sequel. Everything is so screwed that they need to just introduce Cable and have him press a hard reset on things. Doesn't have to effect the first class trilogy but let's say the route of all this tragedy is Sinister, send him back to stop whatever he's doing (stopping mutant births?) and then that would change the future. Keeps the new cast in place but changes outcomes.

I don't think it'll be something that is actually part of the movie, but more an extra that people in the USA will see during the trailers .
