And how soon can we expect the usual “Chris Hemsworth makes a surprise cameo?” scoops?

Probably 6.

And this will probably be weirder than WandaVision but less "so and so is playing Nightmare"

Kevin Feige said something like F&WS and Loki will have 6 episodes around 45min, whereas She-Hulk will have 10 episodes around 30min, like WV did

While I think we'll get Lady Loki (Sophie DiMartino) and possibly even older Loki (Richard E Grant) I doubt we're going to get a Bohner type of situation.

John Campea has referred to the MCU on his show as "the Marvel Cinematic Fake Death Universe" but has also said that White Vision isn't actual Vision from prior movies who has been revived.

While ignoring that people fake-die all the time on Marvel and DC comics. Bringing up Superman's death and resurrection sets him into mansplaining mode.

this show is going to be loki vs. loki at the end. he will literally have to fight his evil self.

In an earlier version of the Avengers Endgame script, past Thanos was going to go the earth of his time and kill the Avengers and destroy New York before going to the 2023 timeline. I am wondering if the shot of Loki walking around the destroyed New York in the trailer is the aftermath of that, and that early idea is being used as part of this show.

Hell yeah this looks awesome and after the more grounded and gritty real world approach with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier I am more than ready for more WandaVision esque crazziness within the MCU.

I also get the feeling that it will be even wierder than that which only makes me more excited, because I don't want them to hold back anymore on going full steam ahead with the cosmic side of Marvel.

With any other character, I'm with you, but with Loki, that's entirely different. He is the god of mischief and deception.

Oh I really hope they're a bit more original than this. I don't want a lame CW Savitar vs Flash scenario.

this totally looks like loki's redemption story.

Haven't we already had that though? Loki pretty much redeemed himself in Ragnarok.

i expect him to interact with frigga or odin much like thor did in endgame.

Frigga maybe, but I wouldn't think Hopkins would be entirely interested in returning for a tv show.

I'm kind of tired of bringing back dead characters.

This is not a knock so much on the show itself cause it's its own thing, but with Loki, Vision, Phil Coulson (lol), even Black Widow to some extent (yes, I know prequel and all that) it really does take away their deaths now in some ways to me. The MCU has kind of gone overboard with it.

He killed Groot... but didn't.

Good trailer. I don't know what to expect but this looks like it's going to be a wild ride and the scope looks big. I don't know who everyone is supposed to be playing, so I'm off to look at trailer breakdown videos.

That was a different Loki though.

But it's still a Loki redemption story, and one that he had with his brother Thor which, between the two, has more impact.

It's great if he redeems himself here, but if he does so without Thor, there's just not going to be the same impact, and I don't get why they need to redeem a variant of the same character.

I'm not against it, I just simply don't get it.

This looks cool. Nice suprise to see Black Widow in the trailer, thought they'd keep that under wraps! Would love to see a scene with different Loki's all together like Richard E, and then female Loki, kid Loki, Frost Giant Blue Loki etc. That'd be smart.
