Anybody?

I'm heading to London on the weekend of July 18th and I would of course very much like to see The Dark Knight, at least sometime that weekend. However, I don't live in either London or the UK, so I'm wondering if there's anybody out there willing to help me out getting tickets?

I know im not from London, but from what i have read. TDK doesn't come out till the 25th in the UK.

Well then it's all back to normal then... It doesn't come out before the 25th in Norway (where I'm at) either.

it's being shown at the london IMAX on the 24th if that helps? i know thats only a day early (advanced screening) but it's better than nothin

Yep confirmaroonie on the 24th at the imax, i shall be making the trip up to good ol lahndun tahn, however i must forewarn you, when i popped in today to get my tickets (2nd july) the first few days showings were almost sold out, so much so that the very helpful girl behind the desk said she'd never seen anything like it for a movie at the imax especially as the tickets had only been on sale for a day, so if you guys wanna get to see it there near opening, book now or face some savage disappointment. That said anyone who's going that day, maybe i'll see you there.

Yeh, I was randomly seeing what shows are filling up (I already have a ticket) and the BFI site was having a few hiccups.

Yeah, i'm so glad that i've actually got mine now, which showing you going to? Now the big decision is wether to let my freak flag fly and go in joker make up or not, seeing as how i missed out on the london based viral shenanigans because of stupid work. But i seriously advise anyone thinking of getting a ticket to book asap, unless you wanna see the half eleven at night showings, the daytimes are selling out fast, when i checked earlier they were sold out for the 8ish showing, and there were about fourty seats left for the 5.15 showing, which may sound a lot but this is after one day! With no tv advertising! and in a huge auditorium! So i don't see there being anything left for the first weekend by this weekend, seeing as how a reliable source tells me that the tv spots are about to start this weekend in the uk. Just thought i'd give everyone who wants to see it at the imax in london(waterloo) a heads up, having seen the prologue on that screen i'd urge anyone who's thinking about it to just do it! It's really awe inspiring.
