The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Meet-Up Thread: Get Ready for July 18th!

All right, so yesterday I received a notice that the Navy Pier IMAX had just put online advance tickets for The Dark Knight starting July 17th at midnight. I immediately went to buy tickets and realized that most tickets (decent seats) were sold out for the midnight showing already. The next slot was 3AM, and more than half of the theater was sold out!

I went to the day of July 18th, and realized that some showings on that day were sold out as well -- the 6PM and 9PM showings. Now, this is only three hours after tickets had gone on sale! I immediately contacted some of my friends and bought tickets for the July 18th showing at midnight. It was literally the best I could do to reserve tickets that were decent.

So, with that in mind, I'm establishing a general meet-up thread for all the major cities and beyond for the upcoming international release of The Dark Knight.

This is the thread to make plans for where you want to meet, what theater, and at what time. I know that there are some seats for the 18th of July at midnight still available at the Navy Pier location. If you want to reserve seats, do so now! We can all meet-up and go together, as a sort of unofficial SHH! Meet-Up Party for the film. I can even host a party before or afterwards.

So let's get crackin'! Anyone interested, post here or PM me. And like I said, this just isn't for Chicago, but for everyone else in the world as well. If you guys want to meet-up and as fans enjoy the movie experience together, this is where you make it happen.
