Then don't. If the special features are only going to be on Blu-Ray (which I doubt), then you'll have to cough up the money to buy it if you really want it. The same thing happened with DVD's when they first came out. They had the special features that Laserdiscs did not and VHS certainly didn't. I had to cough up the money to buy it if I really wanted.kakarot069 said:no, I didn't... I paid for mine.
But I am not gonna pay no ****in $1000 for a stupid DVD player.
I would absolutly love to do that, but the way technology is avdancing these days, that's no longer an optionExcel said:whats the point? why not just stick what everyelse already has ratherthen having to rebuy everything?
Oh I agree. However, I also know how technology works when it first comes out. We can all complain about it all we want but that's what happens. And then eventually the prices drop.kakarot069 said:no DVD player should EVER cost $1000...
there's no other word for it, but it's just plain FUBAR.
LostSon88 said:Foreals? I was always the assumption it was much more expensive than that when it came out in 97', considering DVDs was new technology and all...
LostSon88 said:But the A&E presentation was edited? There's supposed to be like an extra 20 min on the DVD?![]()
Nivek said:I spent about $420.00 on our first DVD player in 1998, which was also a DIVX player as well. But around 1996, they were around $800 for the system.
You dont have to rebuy anything; Blu Ray players are compatible with DVDs as well. Basically, the Blu Ray player will be just as much of an upgrade as VHS to DVD. Most people didn't rebuy those old VHS tapes on DVD format for many years.Excel said:whats the point? why not just stick what everyelse already has ratherthen having to rebuy everything?
This is great animation, but feels a bit odd when seen in the current perception of Superman... The look and feel is clearly inspired by German expressionism and it´s actually kinda dark, lotsa shadows and stuff like that. But the rotoscopic movement, painting-like feel of the colors and angles are amazing.Mr.Egyptian. said:
