have you asked yourself why the **** do you hang out here on a ****ing board?

i mean some people have been posting here for 4 years and over, how can you not ask yourself that question. sure you like to find people who are interested in shnit you are.... thats called a social life, get out there and meet those people, get friends, but we who hang out here refuse to hear this.

we just sit our asses in front of the comp mind numbingly posting pictures of hott chicks make thread on natalie portman and make it such a huge deal..............i don't know it probablly does'nt bother you guys.


im considering my stance on this place. this whole thing kinda bothers me

I'm here cuz the guys at the bookstore/comic shop/manga and anime shops/video game stores/computer and tech stores don't talk to me.

I am here because after dealing with people in person all day, I can sit at home, in my jammies, watching tv, and goofing around online. I like Hype, and I am not ashamed of it. I have friends I do stuff with now and then, and I have family who occassionally deign to come and see me, but the fact is, this is a way to "be social" without having to "be social." It works for me.

We share some interests. Most of my friends like video games but dont care about comic books. Only one of my friends does but his knowledge of them is limited.

If you are faulting the Hype because of a lack of compaionship, social life, you are just looking for an excuse for your own misgivings. There's a lot of people on here who have girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, wives, families, friends, lives and post on here during work or some downtime.

You assume most of us dont do that already. I spend an enormous amount of time on here because im usually on all day at work, but I go out I have "real" friends. Dont assume too much GAH, for those who assume....

I thought you didnt give a damn. Isnt that like your motto? "I dont give a damn" And really, when you start getting annoyed by things on a internet messageboard youre no better than the people you put down in this post.

This would've been my answer a few weeks back, but now I have a schedule.

When I post from work the Hype is an interesting way of escaping boredom/pressure.

When I post from home, The Hype is a hobby similar to watching films, TV or playing games but with more interaction. It just takes away from the time that I would spend on those things rather than stopping me from having a social life or doing anything else productive.
