i mean some people have been posting here for 4 years and over, how can you not ask yourself that question. sure you like to find people who are interested in shnit you are.... thats called a social life, get out there and meet those people, get friends, but we who hang out here refuse to hear this.

we just sit our asses in front of the comp mind numbingly posting pictures of hott chicks make thread on natalie portman and make it such a huge deal..............i don't know it probablly does'nt bother you guys.

Your assumption is wrong, just because we post on Hype! doens't mean we don't have friends we hang out with, and it doesn't mean we lock ourselves in closets with Doritos and just a cold computer screen.

The vast majority of us do have lives, friends, jobs, homes. we take vacations and go on trips.

Don't assume we're all zombies. That only happens on Weds. anyway...

I'm here cuz the guys at the bookstore/comic shop/manga and anime shops/video game stores/computer and tech stores don't talk to me.

Also I literally live in the middle of nowhere so to get anywhere is a pain, it's easier for me to sit back and socialize over an internet board than get in the car, drive 40 minutes to the nearest town and see friends.

We still get together but it's easier to chat with them via AIM and since I'm on why not come here?

I'm willing to bet that most of the people here have pretty good social lives outside of the Hype, but posting here is just so convenient when you want to relax; if you don't feel like going any place, but you still want to do something(I'm starting to prefer this to other modes of ent), you can interact w/ people who share common interests.

Most of my friends im, but carry certain stigmas about message boards; I really don't see why, but I respect their opinion, and continue to do what I want.

I'm here because I choose to spend time interacting and learning about people who's opinions are different than mine. I do the same in real life, but it's much more comfortable to sit in sweats, tubesocks, and a t-shirt.
