I know I'm probably in the minority, but I'm not a fan of the new hipster Q introduced in Skyfall. I miss the Desmond Llewelyn Q who seriously kept Q'ing until he was in his 90's, from Sean Connery to Pierce Brosnan.

I don't mind the new Q. In this day and age he's supposed to be a computer whizkid who can help guide Bond as he does his Bond thing in the field.

Who knows, Whishaw could become the new Llewelyn. He only has one Bind flick under his belt after all.

Watch OHMSS. It's a great movie, you'll like it. I was little turned off at first when Connery wasn't in it, but I gave the movie a chance & it's one of Bond's best.

The old Q fits for classic Bond, the new one fits for a modern age Bond.

I don't mind the new Q. In this day and age he's supposed to be a computer whizkid who can help guide Bond as he does his Bond thing in the field.

Who knows, Whishaw could become the new Llewelyn. He only has one Bind flick under his belt after all.

He just looks like a stereotypical modern hipster. Like someone who just walked off the set of 'The Big Bang Theory.' Meh. Didn't hate him, just don't like him much. Left me cold.

*sniff*.... There is hope for the future. As I said previously I loved 'You Only Live Twice' and 'Goldfinger' especially. Skip 'Diamonds are Forever' and pretty much all the Roger Moore films. 'OHMSS' is a great Bond film with a terrible Bond actor. It would have been one of the greats if Connery stayed on for it. Worth seeing though.

By the way, if & when you get started on the Roger Moore films, prepare to be a little disappointed with Man With The Golden Gun. It's a good movie, BUT has a lot of cheesiness. The title song, didn't help matters either....I suppose Christopher Lee was it's saving grace. LOL

Nah, I'm watching all 23.
