Lounge 78

Not even going to consider watching that.

Why not? The guy is very talented! And has great buns... I think it's fair to say that his buns are strong, as well. That's a firm grip.

There's Christmas, Harry Potter, seasonal themed videos... you know?

Better make sure all your tarps are secured! :p

I have, clamps and bungee cords. Going charge up my phone and Ipad in case of power failure. Sure hope we don't get the worst here, had enough of this crap already

creepy christmas themed.

Every Christmas is an opportunity to start a new tradition.

Like in Christmas 2005 when I first watched the smash hit Santa's Slay starring former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg. A tradition that lives on to this day.

Has anyone heard from @C. Lee ? I heard the KY governor on TV about the tornado.
Thanks for thinking of me. I got lucky as no tornadoes hit my area.....but I was up until around 4:30 this morning keeping track of the storms coming across Kentucky towards us. We had warnings, but none actually formed close to us. At this point they are saying around 70 people killed in Kentucky last night.

I noticed you hadn't been on line since late last night and it had me a little bit worried. Glad everything is okay. It's going to take years to reverse this trend even if we decided to actually do what's necessary.

Scary days, man. :(

Yeah. How is anyone else out there doing who was affected by this? I live in SoCal and about 2 weeks ago the wind knocked about a 3ft branch off an avocado tree that fell in my backyard.....they called it a storm.

What's crazy is....our area had severe thunderstorms last night, but none of the hundreds of tornadoes come as close as 150 miles....but exactly one week ago a tornado hit the town 10 miles away from us (where my wife's mother lives) and tore up 10 mobile homes in a mobile home park there. It's a crazy December.

A little late, but

Joni Mitchell to receive lifetime achievement award at Kennedy Center Honors

Between her and Albert Einstein, I honestly can't think of 2 people I'd rather spend a day with. One of them, I'm sure I would understand. The other, not so sure......

I don't believe much in idols, but am willing to make a couple of exceptions.

Joni was a painter and artist, who had an extraordinary talent for writing lyrics and music. She developed into a very fine musician; so much so that Charles Fing MINGUS wanted to collaborate with her. If you were a musician and Charles Mingus wanted to work with you, you RAN, and did not walk, to the nearest airport and got the first plane available. Her transition from a folk singer to a very, very good jazz musician is exceedingly rare. She collaborated with the giants of jazz, including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, etc. One of the most all around talented people who have ever walked the earth.

I think my parents saw themselves as Mike and Gloria and aged into Archie and Edith instead.

From a movie perspective, it almost seems normal. I still have to be really careful about when I go see a movie, but there are some that are really catching my interest. Generally, I pick a weekday matinee and sit up front away from where most people are, but I always liked sitting close up front anyway. Next week I go see NWH and, after that, the new Matrix movie. Saw House of Gucci and rather liked it.
