I rewatched Nocturnal Animals.

Tom Ford made a goddamn masterpiece. That isssh broke me. The opening credit scene alone destroys ANY of the oscar nominees/winners. Lawd.

That movie is on my 'to watch' list.

So my youngest brother continued following the current TMNT cartoon, and he said the latest episode paid homage to the first movie based on the team,

they used the scene of Arnold/Casey Jones using the garbage compactor to kill Shredder.
This reminded me of the point of Superman snapping Zod's neck in Man of Steel, the heroic Kryptonian did what he had to save lives and a number of the audience looked at him as a murdered.
In the movie, Casey used the dumpster compactor to kill the guy who took runaway kids to train them to steal for him and help him gain authority, but he killed no one in New York, that movie ended with a joke and no comment on the ruthless end of Shredder's life.

I actually really loved the gangster Tony Montana thing he had in the Under the Red Hood adaption.
