This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]531543[/split]
Man, I think if SSquad had reached its potential and been the movie it was supposed to be, I think it would've made that extra $250M and scratched a billion. Could you guys imagine that? If that had happened? The sequel would probably be filming right now and Harley Quinn and Diana would be the official mascots of the DCEU.
Soooo....the first trailer for Inhumans is out...
Erm....that looks cheap....

I don't understand how Marvel has decided that they just don't give a crap about their Network TV product. AOS was and is a subpar show on every level barring VFX and even then it's really good for TV but that's it.
It's a shame because done right the Inhumans offers up essentially a super human Game Of Thrones. But it really doesn't look cheap with little majesty. Maybe the debut will change my mind but right now it looks like it was slapped together just cause.
In reply to i09's idea; I don't mind a Guy Ritchie take on Suicide Squad, one recent flop won't make me lose confidence that he can deliver, and his style fits that team.

I love Chris Stuckmann, I really do think he is one of the most grounded, level headed critics in the industry today. I just watched his Homecoming review and he was basically like "this is a GOOD movie, but it aint great, its a solidly entertaining marvel movie but it's not on the level of the Raimi movies." He gave it a B, which i am 99.9% sure is going to be my score and feelings on the film.
I see soooooo many critics way overhyping this movie, "best marvel movie," "best spiderman movie," "best superhero movie of the summer," "best this best that." I think Spidey is experiencing a Wonder Woman effect where people just wanted a decent Spiderman movie so bad after 13 years of disappointment that they're going to proclaim the first decent thing that comes their way as the second coming.
That said, the movie does look fun and entertaining but I don't foresee it changing my life.
Also, frankly, why watch his reviews when you can tell from the thumbnails whether he liked the movie or not?

Interesting because I find Stuckman to be just another run of the mill fanboy type with a YouTube channel. I really don't find him level headed, if anything he's as hyperbolic as anyone else. I cant take Stuckman seriously anymore. I'm sorry I just cant everytime I see his face I get reminded of "As rain assaults the ground".
Whoever is responsible for Inhumans going to television instead of a feature film: **** you.
