Man, I think if SSquad had reached its potential and been the movie it was supposed to be, I think it would've made that extra $250M and scratched a billion. Could you guys imagine that? If that had happened? The sequel would probably be filming right now and Harley Quinn and Diana would be the official mascots of the DCEU.

I think Harley is still the mascot even with Squad being the way it was Robbie got terrific reviews and pretty much everyone loved what she has done with the character. Harley is my fav DC character and even I was pleased albeit incredibly pissed off they butchered Mad Love this bad and delivered mess of a flashback sequence with revolting neon flares all over it and ridiculous music

I think SM:H review embargo has been lifted. I'll be off to a marriage ceremony but I can't wait to read actual reviews to learn more about the acting, technical aspects & emotional depth in the movie.

Soooo....the first trailer for Inhumans is out...

Erm....that looks cheap....

I don't understand how Marvel has decided that they just don't give a crap about their Network TV product. AOS was and is a subpar show on every level barring VFX and even then it's really good for TV but that's it.

It's a shame because done right the Inhumans offers up essentially a super human Game Of Thrones. But it really doesn't look cheap with little majesty. Maybe the debut will change my mind but right now it looks like it was slapped together just cause.

In reply to i09's idea; I don't mind a Guy Ritchie take on Suicide Squad, one recent flop won't make me lose confidence that he can deliver, and his style fits that team.

Inhumans has SO much potential (said as someone who knows next to nothing about them)!! They really could've had their X-men meets GoT franchise right there, but decided to go with TV instead of movie, and that trailer is just "meh".

Ritchie would be aces for SS2; still my pick for The Flash tho (between him and Wright, but none is gonna happen, I know)

The Inhumans trailer is bad in general. Terrible editing and choice of clips. The acting is questionable, even from Ramsay Bolton. Meh.

I love Chris Stuckmann, I really do think he is one of the most grounded, level headed critics in the industry today. I just watched his Homecoming review and he was basically like "this is a GOOD movie, but it aint great, its a solidly entertaining marvel movie but it's not on the level of the Raimi movies." He gave it a B, which i am 99.9% sure is going to be my score and feelings on the film.

I see soooooo many critics way overhyping this movie, "best marvel movie," "best spiderman movie," "best superhero movie of the summer," "best this best that." I think Spidey is experiencing a Wonder Woman effect where people just wanted a decent Spiderman movie so bad after 13 years of disappointment that they're going to proclaim the first decent thing that comes their way as the second coming.

That said, the movie does look fun and entertaining but I don't foresee it changing my life.

Whoever is responsible for Inhumans going to television instead of a feature film: **** you.

Yeah, I know next to nothing about the Inhumans, and I said this on that thread, but while I like how Marvel Studios expands its universe, this didn't wow me. It looks pretty generic and LIKE an ABC action show rather than a show that has the Marvel feel to it, like Agent Carter and SHIELD at times.

That and the acting didn't wow me. I could be wrong since trailers have been known to lie, but right now, as someone who is a virtual outsider to the Inhumans property, this doesn't sell or compel me to learn more about them.

Interesting because I find Stuckman to be just another run of the mill fanboy type with a YouTube channel. I really don't find him level headed, if anything he's as hyperbolic as anyone else. Also, frankly, why watch his reviews when you can tell from the thumbnails whether he liked the movie or not?

This means it's a very good movie for hard core MCU fans and those critics who loove MCU. :oldrazz:

Maybe the movie will not change your life but it will change Tom Holland's life. :o

That Inhumans trailer :funny: straight garbage.

Nah, I respectfully disagree. If you watch a lot of his non comic book movie reviews, especially for like indie or artsy type films like Only God Forgives for example, he will straight up say "most people are probably going to hate this kind of movie, understandably, but I personally loved it." I find he keeps a very level head with most of his film anlaysis. He's rarely ever hyperbolic in his reviews unless something is complete utter dog **** like Resident Evil The Final Chapter then he will justifiably trash it.

Stuckman is ok, I just hate when he laughs at his own jokes, and I also hate his catch phrase he uses at the end.

I cant take Stuckman seriously anymore. I'm sorry I just cant everytime I see his face I get reminded of "As rain assaults the ground".

Damn, lmao. To each his own, I suppose. I just find him to be very fair and level headed. Even with BvS, I think he gave it a C+ or something, he wasn't nearly as hyperbolic about the film's flaws as most other critics.

Directed by Zack Snyder. :o

The sad thing is, it'd probably be better than the 1993 movie. And this is coming from someone who actually likes it as a guilty pleasure. :funny:
